The mossball went way over Fristkits head and she booked it after it. Once she caught it she tried her hardest to bat it back.

Blackkit caught the Mossball and placed it down. She tensed, ready to run. "Bet you can't catch me" she teased and sprinted off, her eyes full of mischief.

With a laugh, Sheepkit hopped clear over the moss-ball as it came bouncing back to him, letting it roll off deeper into the nursery. Before he could turn around to retrieve it, however, another kit came barreling at him and Dawnkit, and-

“Oh! Fawnkit!” He squeaked in surprise, turned flat on his back with his paws up to defend himself. Sheepkit quickly recognized his littermate briefly tussling with Dawnkit.

Getting back to his feet, Sheepkit grinned and waved his tail in greeting. “I didn’t know you were awake! This is Dawnkit, my new friend I just met. Dawnkit, this is my brother Fawnkit.”

Blackkit quickly darted to the side, barely escaping Frostkit. She quickly darted towards the other side of the clearing, breaking into short bursts of purrs.

She smiled at Fawnkit and then remembered about the moss-ball. She bounded over to it and hit it back towards Sheepkit and Fawnkit so that it landed between them.

Huh. It seems there wasn't much time to think about what she'd be taking Bushpaw to do. Rookflight watched as the apprentice pushed past her, making his way into the territory before she had even decided. With a soft laugh, the dark molly followed the apprentice out, taking a glance around at the moors that stretched beyond. It seemed like it would be an alright day. Anything could work... though hunting seemed like it would be easier, they were downwind right now.
Turning to Bushpaw, Rookflight gave the young tom a slight smile, pointing further within the territory using a paw. "Alright. I have decided that hunting would be the best option for training today. We will be heading out a bit further from the camp to better work on using your scenting skills." As soon as she finished speaking, she began padding off into the distance, beckoning Bushpaw with a tail flick. This wasn't her first time training an apprentice, but it was her first time taking Bushpaw out. Hopefully it would all end well, Rookflight wasn't about to let a cat die on her watch. Gazing back to check that the apprentice was still trailing, Rookflight meowed to him in a soft, yet questioning tone. "I suppose now would be a good time to ask... what you have already been taught? It would help gauge how much explanation needs to be put into this upcoming task if I knew what you have already learned in your previous apprenticeship endeavours." This was a good thing to know, right? The she-cat hoped that Bushpaw already knew a fair amount, though wouldn't mind having to teach him, regardless of answer. It gave her something to do, at the very least. She held back a sigh as she remembered what it would prevent her from doing, though. But, that could be addressed later. Now was training time.
