Ferretkit peered between the two older warriors. Even though she was as young as she were, she could feel there was something awkward going on. Having become comfortable around the two already, she felt confident enough to try break the awkwardness by speaking. "I'm soon to be a 'paw', but I don't know if anyone has noticed that yet" She said, giving a lighthearted grin, her ears dropping a slight tad. She herself felt awkward now. In her ears it had sounded like she indirectly had asked for them to try make sure it was noticed. Half a moon more. It kept nagging her.
"I don't have any siblings or parents in the clan, so there's that.." She mumbled. Not exactly sad. She had gotten used to that fact now, and was slowly starting to cope with not being able to have a sibling bond like many other of the kits she saw in the clearing each day had. Playing around with someone looking a lot like you, being the same age and so-so.
Peering up at the two warriors, she couldn't help but wonder if any of them had any close siblings or family. Mentally noting to herself that they probably had, she smiled lightly, glad on their behalf. Granted, she didn't know for sure. She -had- heard of cats without family like herself, but it wasn't many. Winterwisp had mentioned being a former kittypet, so that was something too. Maybe Ferretkit had been a kittypet herself? No, she would have remembered that..
The young kitten tried to smile lightly, shaking her head free of the thoughts before peering at the two once again.

"That's fine." He said quietly. "I don't socialize much either." Chilleaps cold eyes watched Fadedswirl for a few moments. "What do you think about Starclan?" He random asked, his accent thick and deep.

Fadeswirl gulped as he asked her the question. She sighed, "I honestly don't know. I'm on the vurge of either following Starclan or the Darkforest, but I am unsure at the moment," she mewed.

Chilleap watched Fadedswirl for a few moments, "Why are you unsure?" He asked in a gentle voice. Fadedswirl didn't know what Chilleaps past was and maybe he would be able to slowly point her towards the Darkforest side. He didn't want her to be scared or afraid of him, he wanted her to trust him. 'It might be nice to have someone to talk to and spend time with.' He thought as his heart fluttered a bit. Chilleap pushed back the thought and kicked himself mentally. "You can talk to me." He said kindly.

Once the ginger warrior thought he had recovered from that moment, he cleared his throat and looked solely at the kit. "Well we'll make sure you become an apprentice and then a strong warrior," he tried to insure Ferretkit that she would get her chance at apprenticeship. "No kit gets looked over, I promise," he gave a small purr, but cut himself off after her next comment. Looking towards Galespring, he wasn't sure what to say to the sudden information. Only when he turned back to her that he realized this was something he couldn't help her with. "I- I'm sorry to hear that," he replied almost awkwardly, flicking his ears a little and giving Galespring a side glance, almost like asking the she-cat for help in this situation.

Chilleap nodded, "I get it too, I used to struggle with that as well." He said. "I apologize for asking but what made you question it? I mean, most cats are taught to believe in Starclan from the moment they are born." He said.

"uh, the typical parents died when I was young story," she smiled. "I just lost my faith sense then," she ended.

Chilleap frowned, "I am sorry I didn't mean to bring it up, my mother died when I was young as well. That's when I started to question too. My parents were devout Starclan believers but after my mother died both my father and I questioned Starclan." He said as he watched Fadedswirl. "Do you wanna go for a walk, or back to camp?" He asked randomly. Chilleap didn't like talking about his mother or his father and he knew Fadedswirl probably wouldn't want to talk about it either. 'We can talk about our pasts when we get closer.' Chilleap's eyes widen and he shook his head at the thought.
