Twistedpaw's eyes widened in shock as she looked at the striped kit. "Wh-what?" she gasped. An image of the sickly yellow kit flashed in her mind and she dropped her gaze, feeling grief running through her. He was a kittypet, right? Don't kittypets have a lower chance of getting sick? Her father had told her about that a while ago...
Quickly shaking her head, she asked before the grief overcame her, "D-did... was it the greencough?"

Rosepaw overheard the conversation and turned, trying not to look at Twistedpaw and instead focusing on the striped kit. "Another dead kit?" she exclaimed, her eyes widening in shock. Yes, he had been a former kittypet and probably wouldn't have made much of an addition to the Clan. That made her feel a little better, but still, he had only been a kit, for StarClan's sake!

Twistedpaw's extremely small ears pricked as she heard Twilightstar's meeting call. What was happening? The skinny black she-cat bounded over to where Twilightstar stood on the rock. The lilac-gray she-cat looked tired - surely it was because she was a Clan leader - and a bit... grim? Or excited? She couldn't tell what was going on, but for some reason, there was a nervous air hanging around. Gulping, the apprentice sat among the other apprentices.

Rosepaw heard the familiar meeting call and let out a sigh. So much for relaxing today. Strolling over to the Breezerock, she took a glance at Twilightstar, who had a mix of dull emotions on her face. This better not be another Outsider joining. She let out a soft scoff of disgust. There were too many of those in WindClan now. Sitting down, she wrapped her elegantly bushy tail over her dark red-orange paws. Silently, she did wonder what was actually happening.

Mudkit bounced over to a pretty looking she cat and sat down in front of her, "Hi, I'm mud! Well, I'm Mudkit now. What's your name?" he rambled on, examining the stranger. He hummed a little time to himself, his paws thumping on the ground in front of him as he looked around.

Rosepaw turned to the kit and her pink nose twitched a little in distaste. Of course, this was one of the former Outsiders. Just a kit, but still. At least he had the audacity to talk to a pretty she-cat like her. Okay, maybe not audacity... he was just an eager little kit.
Taking a deep breath and not cringing away, Rosepaw purred in her honey-like voice, "Hello, Mudkit. I'm Rosepaw, one of the Clan's apprentices."
Why was he humming and thrumming his paws like that? Her ears twitched. This kit might be even weirder than Curlpaw, and he actually liked Twistedpaw, that deformed little scrap.

No, A fox killed him *He held out the fox tooth that he found on cougar* This tooth is the last thing of him I got. @TheNyanCatMinecart

Twistedpaw felt her body tense and she shuddered, thinking of how gruesome that death must've been. Foxes liked to viciously attack and shred their prey before probably eating it. Another awful shudder ran through her body as she imagined the sweet, playful Cougarkit sneaking out of camp, hoping for an adventure, but then getting torn apart by a fox. The tooth disturbed her a bit and she couldn't take it. Quickly, she glanced away. "O-oh," she whispered, a bit of grief creeping into her voice.

Rosepaw tensed, trying not to imagine the unsavory, gruesome death that the kit had to suffer. At least they wouldn't be having a kittypet as a warrior, but it must've been bloody... or painful. He probably just doesn't fit Clan life, she thought. And it was the kit's own fault for leaving the camp without permission. Her gaze strayed over to Twistedpaw. She looks like a fox tried to eat her. A small smirk spread on her face, but it quickly diminished when she saw the tooth that the kit held. "Ew," she muttered, glancing away.

*Barley-kit hissed at Rose-paw* Dont start any fights you cant finish, Your queen *He said sarcastically*

Rosepaw's head whipped around to face the striped tom-kit. "What do you even mean?" she hissed back, her fur bristling with some confusion. "Is it wrong to be disgusted because you're holding a tooth?"

Twistedpaw flinched slightly, but didn't lift her gaze. She still felt really bad for poor Cougarkit and didn't want to be in the middle of an argument in between Barleykit and Rosepaw.

Mudkit beamed at her, "nice to meet you, Rosepaw!" he liked her. She seemed nice! After thinking for a bit, he asked, "Whats an apprentice?" he cocked his head at her, furrowing his eyebrows. Looking down at his paws, he mentally compared them to the size of Rosepaws. Even though rosepaw had pretty small and dainty paws, his were much tinier in comparison.
