“I would like to volunteer to teach,” Darkpetal meowed when Sparrowstar mentioned implementing a new curriculum for kits.
Featherclaw overheard what was happening and she eagerly went over. “Oh! Oh!” She meowed excitedly,”Can I help?” Although she was a fully grown cat, and a mother at that, she still had zest and goofiness with her.

"Do you and Barley have kits?" - Bella
She couldn't understand quite why or how, but seeing cats step forward for these ceremonies always brought a light, fluttery feeling to her chest. It was a bit hard to put words to it, but it was the joy and pride of a warrior who had served this clan for so many years now seeing the next generation coming forward to join them. If she had known either of those two on a deeper level, if she had talked to them sometime and got to know them, this would have made her eyes liquidy, but the silver-blue warrior still smiled as she watched the two 'paws.
First up was Softpaw, and Mistylight couldn't have agreed more with the traits mentioned and honored. Though a laugh glittered in her eyes as she heard the name. Softsky. Hmm, something about that did seem familiar didn't it? But it suited the brown and white molly.
Then Emberpaw, with suitable attributes honored as well, and a good-sounding name. She couldn't find a connection to anything about the suffix, but a good name nonetheless. Embertalon.
"Softsky, Embertalon! Softsky, Embertalon!"
Mistylight called, raising her light blue muzzle towards the sky and joining in the chanting with her clanmates.
Warrior ceremonies were rare since everyone sadly did not survive to see theirs, and were usually the most important thing in the meeting, often therefore what they were concluded with, but Mistylight's blue gaze rested on Sparrowstar as she heard the leader speak again. Her head tilted somewhat, the worry on her face at the mention of kits shenanigans being replaced with a thinking look as Sparrowstar continued. Six different lessons, two of which had to be completed before one's apprentice ceremony. Clan Etiquette, Clan Relations, Clan History, Warrior Code, Herbs, and Hunting. It was an interesting and rather new idea. Sure, kits had been encouraged to hear stories from the elders sometime before their sixth moon, but noting had (as far as Mistylight recalled) been required.
The leader finished by mentioning she would appreciate volunteers, and Mistylight sat quietly for a fair few moments, thinking. Her father had in his time often sat down with little Mistykit and her two siblings to educate them in how a good warrior ought to behave, and her mother had more than a few times taught them the right morals through her stories, but nothing had been a formal lesson, simply two parents raising their young the way the saw fit. But those sounded a lot like the Clan Etiquette lessons Sparrowstar suggested.
Braking away from her silence, the older molly got to her paws (allowing the younger cats to get their voices heard as well) and looked towards the leader. "I think I could do well teaching them about the etiquette of our clan. Unless anyone else really wants to, I could take that on myself." A pause and moment of thought, considering her own age and experience before adding "Or clan history, since I believe I recall... at least the past..." there was a heartbeat of hesitation there as she counted back "two years clearly enough to tell about them." This would be a small addition to her usual duties, but one more than welcomed, and truth be toled, Mistylight was a little bit excited about this development.

He led Duckfluff into the den and checked to see Duckfluff was behind him before fluffing up the moss he was sitting on. With that, he sat on top of the dry moss, and warm moss. It wasnt as warm as the rocks. But you could easily fall asleep on these all the same. no doubt about that. "You can go to sleep right now if you'd like" he dipped his head politely to the tom the same way he had when they had just met. "I got quite the rest when I was sleeping on the rocks and while you were grooming" he decided to turn his head and watch the sunset. It was one of the many beautiful things out there. Except most would be busy or taking naps during this time. So he never did that. He was awake, and watching the beauty of nature.
A huff escaped her muzzle as the tan molly bent down to sniff at the kit before her. Didn't seem to have any wounds or illnesses... at least that was a positive.
"We have rules in place for a reason Blazingkit," she stated, standing up straight once again as she peered down on the small ball of fluff before her. "Kits are not to leave camp. You could have gotten seriously injured out there."
Pausing a moment, she gave him a final once over before continuing.
"You are going to head straight back to the nursery. I am certain the queens have been worried sick about you. Do not let me hear about you wandering off again little one, or your apprentice ceremony will be pushed back."

"Streamtail, my patience is wearing thin here," she stated, tone dipping into sterner waters. "You need to remember, you made vows to serve Thunderclan as a warrior and now work to raise it's young. Your duty is to bring up the youth in our clan. If this kit returns in Newleaf to become an apprentice you may do as you wish, but until then I expect your focus to remain in camp and on your litter where it belongs."
A frosty look was given to the queen before she turned back towards the entrance of camp.
"Do as you have been instructed. If you have issues with my decision, I am sure you know where to find Copperfire or one of our Keepers, but I expect you to re-evaluate your priorities."

The thin molly's brown ears flicked back in irritation as the tom before her dove directly into half-baked excuses.
"Why, stars tell did you not report back when discovering a strange scent?" she stated dryly, gaze hardening as she spoke. "You run off with no warning, no back-up, and strayed so far that you could not find your way back until now. That does not seem like a sound strategy."
Giving the molly a few quick sniffs to determine whether she was injured anywhere else, Sparrowstar stepped back only after she was satisfied that her ears were the only thing hurt. A frown creased her muzzle as the bitter answer was received.
"Curse those blasted creatures," she grumbled, tail twitching behind her. "Come, let's get you home so Sundust can take a look at your ear. We need all the warriors we can get this season."

Her recent solo hunting trips were starting to find more than just prey these days. The familiar scent of a returning peer gave her pause as she strode through the forest on her usual path.
"Roosterflame!" she called out, voice breaking through the stillness of the Leafbare forest. "Where in the stars have you been?"
Green eyes flicked to his seemingly injured leg and the blue collar clinging to his neck.
Streamtail sighed, "Yes sparrowstar. Let's go teddie." Streamtail then bends down and whispers in Teddie's ear, "I'm still adopting you though so don't worry about that, I'll visit often!"
Morningkit looked around, her eyes widened at how pretty everything was.

The tom stared up, long way up. He put his forepaws on the
rough bark, raising his tail. He hunched back and kicked. With
a speedy shot he got up but he was unable to keep his claws
in the bark, he began to fall but twisted in air and landed on
his paws with a heavy 'Huff!'
"That was a great start, especially for your first try! Here are some things to think about though..." Dunestorm takes a huge leap onto the tree and sinks his claws in, "You see the key to this is all about the momentum and your grip on the tree. Without it you'll be like a puppy trying to climb the tallest tree in the forest, useless!"
THunderBlaze Padded into the Nursery seeing CInderpaw and frogpaw getting trambled by some kits the tom chuckled a little" looks like you apprentices are getting the kits attention" he said then turning to honeykit" are you behaving honeykit?" he asked

"Bein' a pain in the b-butt doesn't mean ev-ev-everyone wants ya gone." She addressed both Moonkit and Bluekit. "'S called growing pains."
In an instant, barely the blink of an eye, the pout had been erased from Honeykit's mouth, instead turning into a broad, happy grin as the she-kit spotted Thunderblaze approaching. "DAAAAAAAAAAAADDYYYYY!!" Honeykit yelled, hopping up and down with uncontrollable glee as she scampered over to her father. "Dad, dad!" The dilute calico hollered, bouncing in overexcited circles around the ThunderClan warrior.
"Look what Cindy-sister brought for me!" And with that exclamation, Honeykit raced back over to the nest Frogpaw and Cinderpaw had brought in, collapsing once more into it's confines. "I love it, and it's all for myself." She purred contentedly, brain completely skipping over the entire 'sharing' part as she attempted to sleep right then and there. Opening one eye to look at her father and answer his question, the kitten beamed. "I'm a good girl, daddy!"
But alas, something more interesting caught her eye. The flicking of a short grey tail seemed to take over everything in Honeykit's eyes, and within moments she was crouched on the floor, wriggling her haunches and leaping at the offending object. Small paws scrabbled to get a hold of Cinderpaw's tail, but when she was unable to catch the infernal thing. Dilated pupils filled with adoration angled up to meet with Cinderpaw's own, and Honeykit's tail wriggled with fresh excitement.
Within moments, the usually refined, mannered she-cat was chasing her own tail in circles, olive hues wide with glee.

Thunderclaw entered the camp from his voyage to get mice from the farther edges of thunderclan. It was getting harder and harder to find prey. He set one of his two kills on the pile and took the second to his queen, lynxtuft,"Lynxtuft?" He called into the warriors den. She wasn't quite due to be in the medecine den yet.

ColdPaw nodded, he leaned back again and shot up. He reached far
up, but when he gripped up he realized he extended to far. Now his
legs where dangling below him. He growled softly as his back legs
struggled to get a grip. He used his hindpaws to kick off. Then he
looked up again.
