Ripplepelt spotted Swanbreeze in the clearing, nodding in acknowledgement. She had seen the cat around, but hadn't had much chance to speak with the warrior other than a friendly nod hello before. Well, now's the time, she thought to herself, meowing a hello.
"Swanbreeze," she mewed in greeting. "How would feel about a walk around the territory with me? I could use the chance to stretch my legs." With any luck, they would find some prey for the empty fresh-kill pile while they were at it.

Swanbreeze, slightly startled by the warrior's sudden greeting, nodded a quick greeting before replying with a small purr.

"i feel like walking around today." she trilled. "yes; that sounds fine. my limbs have been aching these past few days- i could use a small walk."

Padding up to Ripplepelt, although a new friend of hers, she felt okay; a feeling she hadn't felt in quite a while. relaxing the still flared up fur on her spine, she stretched, yawning while doing so.

"i notice we don't know eachother well. how about we fix that, hm?" she mewed politely.

Briarpaw, Shellkit, Honeykit, Birdsnow and Brackenfire stared at each other and wondered why Poppy has so many of them.

Ripplepelt let out a little prrp! of agreement as Swanbreeze stretched, shaking out her own back legs.
"I'd like that," she mewed, heading towards to entrance of camp. "How about we head to Haven Springs? The cold leaves me pretty achey, but the hot water can help to ease it a little. We can get to know each other on our way there."

Tulipkit wiggled as she prepared to pounce. She was focused and in position, ready to hunt. Her prey? A dragonfly she’d been chasing around the camp for the past few minutes. It had landed on a blade of grass and was unsuspecting of the mighty predator’s keen gaze. She pounced cupping her paws on the dragonfly.

Her heart raced. Had she finally caught it She removed one paw to peak and check… only to see that it was not there. Tulipkit immediately whipped her head around to look for it everywhere, but by the time she saw the dragonfly again it had already flown away.

a small, black blur was seen pouncing off of a rather large rock, claws unsheathed and aiming for the dragonfly. dropping down skillfully, the dragonfly's wings fluttered helplessly under the kitten's paws. `` you were trying to catch this? welp, too bad. you're bad at catching things. ``he sneered.

another kit, with a longer pelt, walked up to him and swiped a sheathed paw at the dark-furred kit, hissing at his smart retort. `` hey! be nice! `` the dark kit winced pitifully.

`` sorry about him. i'm laburnumkit, and he's adderkit. i hope he didn't get your feelings hurt- he's a grouch sometimes.`` the lighter-furred kit apologized for adderkit, smiling in welcome.

``so,`` laburnumkit muttered in her boredom as adderkit toyed with the dying dragonfly. ``what's your name? who's your favorite warrior? what's your favorite time of day? do you kin here? what's their names?`` she bombarded with innocent questions, head tilted to the side in curiosity.

Tulipkit’s eyes narrowed. Who did this kit think he was? What a show-off! “I wasn’t trying to kill it. I was just practicing hunting for when I become the best warrior this Clan will ever see,” She puffed out her chest pridefully, trying to one up Adderkit, before sneering back “but now you’ve broken its wings and ruined our fun.”Tulipkit was stubborn and not one to back down when someone challenged her or offended her. She barely acknowledged Laburnumkit besides a simple “I’m Tulipkit.”

Shellwhisker´s tail tip flicked to-and-fro irritably. She didn´t even look up to see her Clanmate approach her. She was pissed off - especially with Tansypaw. So what if she and Bluebellpaw didn´t report back? Why did that even matter? Larkstar or Birdsnow could have sent her out on patrol and she would have been just fine. Shellwhisker, settled on her belly, tucked her forepaws toghter beneath her chest. Mouse-brains. The RiverClan she-cat only looked up through narrowed ice-blue eyes at Weaseltooth as she felt him aim his tail tip at her shoulder.

"Shellwhisker," Weaseltooth's soft meow had a tone of caringness to it."if it makes you feel any better, Frostpaw is in just as much trouble as he's got a hunting punishment patrol. But you don't have anything to be mad about! I'm gonna volunteer to go with you! I've already seen Charredpaw do it, how hard can it be?" He seemed happy in a way, but in all honesty he was feeling a confliction of emotions, since Sootpelt managed to get Exiled. He didn't know how to feel; mad? Scared? Disappointed? Sad? He couldn't tell...
(Tonight, weaseltooth is gonna have a small moment in Lionsbeach where he sits looking at the beach! He's gonna be contemplating who his friends really are! And as a result... Grief is gonna change him. I plan on having him kill soulkit and frostpaw to give Charredpaw, snowflakekit and smolderkit a drive to be the best warriors Riverclan has ever seen.)
