He quickly pulled away his paw as one of the brambles he had been adjusting in the wall decided to poke him with a sharp thorn, and he bit down in his tongue in frustration. He had spotted he stray branch poking out of the wall this morning, and had spent quite some time wrestling with it. It was in a bad place so an uncareful move might cause it to snap completely, but he was managing.

With his focus on his task, he didn't register Bumblebreak's call as the fellow Keeper's call sounded over camp, but his ears twitched and he glanced over his shoulder when his own name was mentioned. Bumblebreak probably hadn't seen his dark fur to the side, but Batblood was a bit busy here. "Err, Bumblebreak!" He called to the small tom- wait, no, molly. Still not used to that. "Someone else will have to take that patrol, my paws are full." A pause as his yellow and golden gaze scanned the camp, finding a silvery blue pelt not far away. "Mistylight, take my place. Dawnpaw and Embertalon to the Windclan border." There shouldn't be much problem there, as the older warrior had seemed to be eager to help before, and Batblood turned back to his work.

Blue eyes focused on Bumblebreak as the Keeper started calling out patrols. She had hoped that it was that Copperfire was busy and had, therefore, told a Keeper to take care of this part of the deputy duties, but it seemed the russet tabby simply hadn't done them in too long of a while. A frown clouded with worry settled over Mistylight's features, and when thinking of it, she hadn't seen him around a whole lot lately. When happening to visit the Windclan border a few days ago - when she had found Goldenpaw - she had noticed the stale scent, but just kinda assumed patrols would be sent out soon, and thought nothing more of it. But if anyone were to step in, it would likely be a Keeper.

Mistylight waited to see if her name was called, and she was about to go off and finds something else to do since she felt rather idle right now, but she stopped as Batblood spoke to her. Ah, of course, she wouldn't mind at all. "Not a problem." She smiled, hesitated a bit and sent a somewhat apologetic smile towards Bumble as well (she hoped this wasnt stepping on any toes, but Bat and Bumble were on equal footing rank-wise, so she supposed Bat had the same authority in this) before padded towards the middle of the camp.

She also noticed Goldenpaw being placed on a patrol, and a slight smirk danced over her face as she recalled how eager to mark the borders the young cat had seemed a few days ago. "Good luck, Goldenpaw. Have fun!" [ @Quasar ] Hehe, that probably looked a little off to everyone else as the two didn't really know each other, but who cared about that?

Reaching the middle of the clearing she summoned Embertalon and Dawnpaw with her tail, and waited for them.

At the sound of pawsteps, Honeykit's head lifted from the center of the den, where she lay quietly in the dark. It was freezing outside, and Honeykit didn't appreciate it one bit. The sound of loud pawsteps drummed against the ground, and it wasn't long before Acornkit had intruded Honeykit's vision. And in her mouth the kit held... something extremely goey. The dilute calico's first reaction was to shy back, pretty pink nose wrinkling with evident distaste. "What is that?" She asked, green eyes darting to Rainfall as the Queen made an appearance. Just the sight of her mother had Honeykit's heart soaring with newfound glee. Mama hadn't abandoned her! Of course she hadn't, Honeykit was too special to be cast aside.

Paws eagerly scrambled to pull the mouse Rainfall had dropped towards her chest. It was hers now! Mama had given her a gift! Olive hues remained so wide with adoration that Honeykit had completely forgot about Acornkit. Until her mother turned around to address the other kitten. Vile, green jealously entered her heart as Rainfall referred to Acornkit as 'love'. What was so special about Acornkit? Surely, Honeykit was better by a mile? But her head snapped back into reality, whipping in Acornkit's direction as the kit started screaming yet again. "You should listen to mama!" The dilute calico stated, staring down the older kit.

¨Shes not MY mother! So I don't gotta listen to her!!¨ Acornkit screamed. She huffed and grabbed the honeycomb. ¨Im sure Blazekit would like my company." She growled. She grabbed her drawing stone and wiped the drawing of a tree off. ¨And by the way, this is honey. Its In your name so i thought you would like it.¨ Acornkits eyes were flaring with anger, and still a bit of unknown appeal to Blazekit."Im also sorry for calling you a badger, it was a joke.¨ And like that, she trailed off to the apprentice den.

Acornkit put her grabbed blazekits tail softly. ¨Cmon¨ She dragged him to a river and put his paw in the water. She drew a river. änd put his paw on the drawing. ¨This means water¨

Blazekit felt the water and it felt weird the tom waved his paw in the little puddle of water

stormpaw padded ver to the kits" ok why don't we relax for awhile Blazekit might wanna think about what he's felt and what you've said to him lets just introduce stuff to him slowly" he meowed

She grabbed him solfty by his tail and calmy dragged him back to the Apprentice den.

the clearing isn't as loud as the kit would like - with leafbare having arrived, it's cold and most of his clanmates are in their respective dens. or, if they are in the clearing, they were chattering amongst friends quietly or lounging about. there is nothing fun to do right now, and it's killing him!! the young tom's already played in the snow, just moments ago. (the interest in the snow lasted about.. an hour.)

so, fuzzkit sits under a tree in a small area that, somehow, has not been buried in snow. his bum is still cold, nonetheless. he's wracking his little brain as hard as he can, hoping to come up with something to make life more exciting. his nose scrunches, quickly becoming irritated. then, it comes to him, and a wide grin appears.

he jumps up, sprinting towards the camp wall only seconds later. it's a very stupid plan, but he requires entertainment!! or he may just die! once he's at the camp wall, he edges towards the entrance, stopping just before it. he smushes himself against the the camp wall, letting out a quiet "yeowch!" at the prickly brambles. as soon as someone comes through the entrance, the kit leaps in their direction with a mighty shriek.
