Coyotesnarl was scary. With his gruff voice, angry mannerisms, that terrible snarling scar where half his face had been torn up- Sheepkit glanced back at Fawnkit.

His littermate was sick, badly so, and he probably felt a lot more frightened of the situation than Sheepkit himself did. He’d made a promise to always take care of his brother the way good families should, and now was one of those times when Fawnkit would need him to step up. Gulping audibly, he stood up on shaky-stubby legs and gave Fawnkit a brief, slight nudge on the shoulder with one paw.

“Do you think you can pull yourself up into that nest there, Fawny?” He requested gently, indicating the moss bed Coyotesnarl had brought over to them. “It’ll be much more comfortable there. You’ll be okay, don’t worry.” Now, the hard part…

Sheepkit faced the mean, crude, terrifying, StarClan’s most intimidating medicine cat towering over him, as resolutely as he could. His shaking intensified. “S-sorry again, sir. I’ll clean it up, so you d-don’t have to worry about the mess. Please, just..” He looked to Fawnkit again. All the tension in his body sagged. “Please help my brother. I don’t want him to hurt anymore.”

Tears welling up in his eyes, Sheepkit tossed his head and tail up in a display of confidence he didn’t quite feel, and peered about in search of some spare moss he could use to wipe the floor with; he didn’t exactly want to use bits of someone’s bed, especially not Fawnkit’s.

Fawnkit padded over to the Den.

She nodded, sitting down to listen. She would think about what her mentor was saying, It must be hard to practice if your sparring. @RainbowQuail

Chasing rabbits! Skunkblaze mewed, trying to sound excited for her apprentice. The clan needs fed, and you need hunting practice. Without waiting for a reply, she headed out of the den, and out onto the moor. (I'll post in the territory) @TheNyanCatMinecart

Dodgepaw stalked around the edge of the heather, aiming to pounce on a tuft of grass.
