At the sudden touch, the apprentice turned, ready to attack, but was instead met with a comforting voice. And honestly... this cat — Blackhaze was it? — spoke some sense. He didn’t have any fighting skills, he would back down. But not before another cat cake up. Ah... they could deal with the attackers.
He trailed after Blackhaze, now unsure of what to do.
