"Hey!" Skye laughed, starting after him.

Zed was putting the finishing touches on the light fixtures in the elevator. Finally, as Mara would remark.

"Hey, there..." the blue-haired she-program cooed as the Bit approached her. "Where did you come from? Are you lost?" She guessed that the Bit would only be able to answer the second question.

Callum heard the other Program only somewhat trip over himself, he got back up and over to the garage. He looked back at the firewall only to throw his disc at it which seemed to stall it. Catching his disc he ducked into the garage only to fall over a tool causing him to land on his side. He didn't care the ISO was glad that he was safe. HE wasn't too sure about the firewall though.

Arriving back at Argos Vernal got off the train and head back to the base. Somewhat tired.

"See you next time. I've got buisness to take care of, but it was actually nice meeting you." Pavel waved goodbye, and walked away. He contacted someone, and began talking out of earshot.

"No." Chris knew where he was, but he wanted to play a joke with Mara. He went into Mara's hands, and started to shake, as if he was scared. He wasn't, but it would be funny to see what Mara would do.

"Aw, Zed; look--" Mara chuckled, bringing the Bit closer. "Somebody's Bit got loose."

"Mara, we can't keep it. Obviously it belongs to someone else," Zed sighed.

"N-no!" Chris-Bit shook some more, and he tried to bury himself in Mara's hands.

Mara hugged the Bit, looking up at Zed with pleading ice-green eyes. "Zed... what if this little guy escaped from someone? What if they're being cruel to him?"

"I highly doubt that."

"Please, Zed? For me?" Zed sighed in defeat.

"Fine, but only because--" he caught himself. "But if someone comes looking for him, don't blame me."

"Yes..." Chris-Bit stopped shaking, but only slightly. He waited for Skye to come down, she was going to, right? He didn't want Mara to take him home, Skye needed to get here fast. On the other hand, it would be a funny joke.

He needed to go back to Skye.

But, how? He would have to transform back, but that would be a conversation he would not like to have. He would have to wait for Skye to pick him up.

"Thank you!" She hugged the reddish Bit a little tighter. Not enough to hurt him, of course-- Mara was pretty gentle when it came to handling the little creatures. "There's no need to be scared, little fella."

"Chris--?" Skye was trying to catch her breath as she approached the two of them. "Oh; looks like you got to him before I did."

"Skye-- this is your Bit?" Zed asked.

"If he is, why was he shivering in terror?" Mara accused.

"It's a long story... for your sake, I'll keep it to myself."

"Skye, what did you do to this poor Bit to make him so scared?"

"Scared?"

"Yeah. It seemed like he was running from Pavel; that's how scared he was." Skye rolled her eyes, then spoke to Bit-Chris.

"Come on, buddy. It's me. What did I do to you?"
