Foxpaw sat up from where she had been silently sunning herself on a rock, looking around as the rest of the clan filed into the clearing. Sparrowstar took her spot among the branches of the Thunderwillow before she began to walk down, making her way across the grass to sit in her usual spot in front of the Apprentices Den. She had noticed Flameheart when she had first arrived, yet there was still the stinging of the reprimand that remained drenched in her mind. It would hopefully go away with time, this being one grudge she hoped would not remain imprinted in her soul. Flameheart hadn't meant it. She was sure of that, or, at least, pretty sure. Being a keeper was probably pretty stressful or something. She'd just need a moment before going back to sitting with her.
Nothing especially evident seemed to happen yet, something that was frankly relieving, considering the events of the previous gathering. There were far too many cats for her to focus on one, so green eyes moved back to Sparrowstar, and she focused on the leader instead. Not like there was much else to do. A few screams caused her to glare at a pair of kits, but that wasn't much of a surprise considering that one of them was the mousebrain of an Acornkit. Or, from listening to both of them, they were both mousebrains of an Acornkit. How fun. The thought of there being two of them was slightly disgruntling, but she simply moved her gaze back to Sparrowstar, ignoring their existence.
Soon enough Sparrow was speaking again and the voices quieted down again. Wait. A small grin spread across her face as she realized what the older cats words meant, and she began to walk forward. Down, away from the apprentices den, away from the squabbling of kits who hadn't yet experienced anything, and towards the tree. She caught the eye of a few of her fellow denmates. Goldenpaw, Hazelpaw. Her grin widened a bit. They were her friends, she supposed, and for once it wasn't a relationship built from trauma. They knew each other genuinely, not just some anger fueled version of them. Perhaps when this was over, when she was truly allowed to, she'd take them into the woods.
The Acorns were screaming again, but she was able to push past that for now, able to focus on Sparrowstar again. It was time.
Instead of saying the words he wants to say, he chuckles and shakes his head with ease. "Tough little guy, hmm?" He murmurs under his breath with a smile on his face.
Tinyflower peered at her brother "are you alright? i have this feeling somethings off"
Fernblaze sniffed the air. Rain she thought. Just then a small drop landed on her ear and she flicked it away. How could we have two Acornkits fern though to herself, chuckling.
Tinyflower peered at her brother "are you alright? i have this feeling somethings off"
"I am doing fine. I see no reason for you to be concerned." He says, tilting his head as Fallenstep gazes at his sister with his inquisitive amber eyes. Deciding to ask her a question is easy.

"What about you?" Asked smoothly, without falter.
"I'm fine, Even if i'll be a Single mother" she looked lovingly at her kits "but with them, everything will be alright, for their perfect in my eyes"
Berryscratch’s eyes softened. “It’s.. Fireflykit. Isn’t it..?” she mewed softly, placing a paw on his shoulder. Her eyes were filled with compassion. Her heart was melting for the mourning tom. She shuffled her squirrel towards Dragonflyash. “I think you need it more than me.” she smiled softly.
At the arrival of Mister Black BigCat, Shinekit's eyes brightened. She waved her white-stripped tail in greeting, remembering about her need to know the Code of Warriors. Or, Warrior Code. One of them! She squeezed her eyes shut, thinking really hard. "So we can stay safe, and our ClanHome!" she squeaked, her eyes then popping open.
He cocked his head, listening closely as the kits shouted out their answers excitedly. It filled him with hope watching these three kits seem to take a keen interest in all of this, though their excitement was one of the reasons he always adored kits. They seemed to find the joy in everything. Though it seemed his thrill in the warrior code was not always common among all the kits so this was a nice sight to see. He smiled at their simple answers but nodded. "Good, good. Glowkit, you say, 'and more'. I'd say all the answers are correct but yours brings me to the rest." He let his amber gaze wander over all the kits before continuing, "The Warrior Code does keep us safe, but how does it keep us safe? It goes so much deeper than protecting us, it establishes our way of life and it protects all of the clans. We are responsible for our own safety but the Warrior Code makes it so at the very least there will always be four clans." He looked up at the light coming in through the den entrance as though in thought, "It was created many, many moons ago by the very first leaders, ancient cats who are now in Starclan watching over us all. They created it so we could live peacefully and with purpose."
He moved aside and used a claw to draw lines in the soft dirt. As he worked, his eyes down on the ground, he meowed, "I'll break this into three parts so you can ask any questions. The first five codes are, one, you must defend your clan at any cost. A warrior's priority must be to their clan." A flash of tortie pelt in his mind's eye nearly caught his breath and a flood of guilt pressed into his chest, he cleared his throat to add, "You are allowed to have friends outside of the clan but that friendship must never come before your clan." He rolled his shoulder slightly before continuing, "Two, respect the boundaries. We are permitted border scuffles because it is against the Warrior Code to be hunting or trespassing on another clan's territory. That is why you must defend our borders against anybody who is not Thunderclan. Three, elders and kits eat first. Apprentices should not eat until they've ensured the elders have been hunted for and fed. Four, do not kill prey for the fun of it. It is not a game. Prey is to be killed to be eaten, nothing more. Wastefulness is a mockery of Starclan and everything they offer us. And five, kits must be six moons old before they can become apprentices. Do you have any questions so far?" He was still rattled after voicing the very first point aloud, one he's contended with himself for so many moons, but reciting the others had begun to ease his tensions and put him back into the ease he was used to feeling around kits and the Warrior Code.

++ Glowkit = She/Her = ThunderClan Kit ++
Glowkit was literally shaking with excitement. "How does it work!? What are the great things about this!? Oh, I'm so happy I can't stand still!" She danced around.
++ Cherrykit = She/Her = ThunderClan Kit ++
Cherrykit smiled listening. "No, not that I can think of, Blackfir." She said kindly.
