Her eyes widened slightly in surprise as she was given a apprentice. She had barely been a warrior for two moons, and yet Sparrowstar trusted her with Woodpaw? Feeling a bit delighted, she chanted out the names of her clanmates in steadfast congratulations.

Speaking of which, the apprentice had come towards her, taking the initiative and greeting her. The young warrior gave him a smile. "Hi Woodpaw, I'm Honeybee." She leaned forward to give him the customary greeting. "You're my first apprentice, so I'll do my best to teach you everything I know." A charming twinkle appeared in her eyes.

"Thanks," Wood paw stood there awkwardly. The meeting was over, so he didn't know what to do.

He smiled wide at the announcement of the new warrior’s name. “Foxflurry!” He let his voice join the others as he welcomed his new den mate. The next piece of news came as a bit of a surprise to him. Not that apprentices needed to be reassigned. That was unfortunately normal now in Thunderclan. No it was the fact that he would be receiving his first apprentice. He was positively beaming with excitement. Ospreypaw? He hadn’t gotten the chance to get to know them yet. Obviously that would be changing. His green eyes searched the crowd for the vaguely familiar face. There they are! Slowly, he picked his way towards them. As he got close he waved his tail in greeting. “Hello!” He meowed, as he thumped to a sitting position besides them.

Next came news of a new Keeper, sadly a new elder, and deputy. He called out their names in each one’s turn. The news of Copperfire shocked him. He hadn’t expected the strong tom to get kidnapped by twolegs just like that! And Sharpeye’s promotion to elder without having been a warrior hurt his heart. The young cat deserved so much better. These kinds of things were still around reminding them that Thunderclan was still shaky on its new found legs.
