There was a moment of silence before the apprentice spoke up again. "So... You're it" Russetpaw purred as she tapped Darkpaw gently on the soulder before speeding off. She knew she looked like a kit, but she hadn't ever had the chance to play games. To let her guard down. To have fun or be happy.

Darkpaw laughed as she chased after Russetpaw, trying to catch her obviously.

Thistlefrost sat stiffly towards the edge of the clearing, bored. He dragged a paw over his ear, watching Ravenkit bounce around.

It wasnt probably the most reassuring sight to see Adderfang pacing around the camp with a frown on her face but in her defence she really wasnt happy. The last camp had the benefit of a long history of living there to make certain all small holes were plugged but this one did not have that benefit. She'd even found a kit out wandering around the territory recently! The camp was defiantly not secure. But walking around and trying to find the holes wasnt working, she was too big and tall for once in her life and just could not find the little escape routes that a kit could wiggle through! Maybe it was time to look for help.

Putting down her bundle of building materials Adderfang scanned the clearing doing her best to set her face into a more friendly expression before walking up to a lone kit she'd identified.
"Hello there little one, what're you doing in the clearing today? Anything interesting?" She softly rumbled. Adderfang was well aware of how terrifying she looked normally and would feel awful if she scared the child so figured a soft approach leading into what she wanted the kit to help her with was the smartest thing... She really needed to interact with more kits didnt she, the warrior had no clue what she was doing.

"Whoaaa! You're such a big warrior!" He mewed happily. "I dunno what I'm doing, just sitting here..."

The molly chuckled at the little thing, of course she seemed big, she was full grown anyone would appear big to a kit, that she was actually large wasnt saying much. Still it was a very cute kit. "Im Adderfang, whats your name? If you're not busy I could use a little help from a brave and smart kit, will you take some time to help me and your clan out with a little issue?" She murmured trying to make what was basically a chore seem fun to the child, if it was explained like a game it would probably even be fun.

Thistlekit stalked into the clearing, squinting angrily at the sun. He was in a bad mood today; the camp was boring and he longed to be made an apprentice so he could explore the territory. He sighed and settled in the sun. He was too grumpy to eat so instead he glared at the ground. Stupid ‘6 moons to be an apprentice’ rule... He was basically 6 moons, only a few more days! @mareenakit

"I'm raccoonkit!" He mewed happily. He gasped as he heard that he could help his clan. "I'm Brave and smart! I can be a good warrior!" He smiled from ear to ear.

"That might be best, seeing as how she is a medicine cat." Acornpelt agreed. Acornpelt touched the tip of her tail to Scorchstrike's shoulder, knowing That wasn't an easy predicament to be in.

"But don't go thinking that those feelings will be easy to overcome." She informed the molly, wrapping her tail around her paws once again. A soft look was displayed on her face.

Scorchstrike's thoughts drifted back to dogs. "Do you think it's possible for a cat to kill a dog? Not through fighting, but maybe with a trap?" Fighting a huge dog like that was impossible, but maybe through other means?

"Well if thats the case I need a brave future warrior to help my in my efforts to defend the camp. Im worried that... rats! Will get get in through any small holes that the warriors dont know about and so Im looking to plug them up. Problem is Im just much to big to find them, think you can find all the little holes for me?" Adderfang didnt mention the 'rats' she was worried about were the kits and that she was more worried them getting out then in. But the kit probably wouldnt be as enthusiastic about helping if he found out he was ruining the potential fun of the more trouble minded children of the clan.
The warrior hauled herself to her paws finished with her instructions waiting for the kits refusal or for him to help her.

The molly tried to keep running as fast as she could, weaving between cats. She tried not to crash into any of her clanmates as she sprinted at full speed, a quiet purr erupting from Russetpaw.
