Stormclaw listened to sundust and with that the tom gave a nod" thank you sundust and i'll make sure to report the rogue attack to sparrowstar" the dark grey tom replied as he got up with a smile and went off
Stormpaw limped into the med den with ears flat" sundust you around just need a quick healing" he meowed" i hate having sprained paw or something" he mumbled
@naiad
“Hello Stormpaw - a sprained paw, hmm? Here, let me take a look,” The medicine cat padded over to the apprentice to examine the injury. The area looked swollen and uncomfortable. Sundust fetched a poppy seed and returned to the tom. “Here, eat this. I’m afraid there’s not much I can do about the injury other than relieve the pain some. You’ll have to try and rest and stay off the paw for a few days - I’d say a quarter moon of rest, and then a quarter moon of light duties before returning to normal work.” Yes, that sounded like it would be ample time for the injury to heal.

So then there weren’t any more kits wandering the forest - good. “I’m very glad you and Bluekit are alright.” He wouldn’t dive into the details of how upset the clan would be if they had lost the two kits, or how much worse the kits’ conditions could be - he didn’t want to frighten the poor child. He finished bandaging the wounds and set aside the leftover herbs. “Alright, you’re all patched up. You can spend the night in the medicine or, you can stay in the nursery and I’ll come to check up on you, okay?” He wanted to see how the injuries healed overnight, and if any further action would need to be taken to tend to them.

He shook his head in response to Sundust’s question, the light sparking inside him once again, the vet forgotten, “Nope, nada, zilch,” He meowed pleasantly, flexing it to show how well it healed up. That wasn’t absolutely true, he did feel some stiffness and he limped a little bit (That was most likely evident to Sundust already, but whatever.), but otherwise he was fully operational, and so ready to get back on his paws and be active in the clan again.
@naiad
Sundust felt a drop of.. sorrow? He didn’t know how to describe the feeling - it was clear Roosterflame’s experience with the twolegs had not been pleasant, which made him all the more grateful that the warrior was back. “Well then, you should be good to go about your regular warrior duties. Please do come see me if there’s any discomfort and I can see about getting you some herbs for stiff joints - otherwise you’re free to go.” It was nice to see a clanmate return to the clan in good condition; Sundust had noticed a trend of cats going missing and then returning with various injuries.
the brown kit just whimpered slightly, trying to open very tired eyes... what had happened again?he was confused... "wh-where-wh-what?" he mewed in confusion as their eyes took in their surrounding... eep dizziness...
(realized i never replied...)
Sundust’s ears drew back, heart aching that such a young cat had to experience so much pain. “It’s okay,” the medicine cat murmured, “You’re safe in ThunderClan now, all patched up.” He padded away for a moment and returned with a poppy seed. “Here, eat this, okay? It will help you sleep.” There wasn't much more Sundust could do at this point except let the kit rest.
[ sundust will want to do a follow-up with zyon at some point, checking his injuries and going over his future as a tripod. feel free to send in another healing request whenever you’re ready for that, just specify it’s for a follow-up! ]
Not even the rat bite had hurt this badly; this was on another level. Pain pulled her lips taught as she slipped into the medicine den once again. Every movement pulled at the open wound on her side; her stomach was stained scarlet, as was much of the fur on her face from the reopened scar that still trickled.
Blood dripped slowly onto the den floor as she pushed her way inside. Putting up a facade for Violetfreckle had been easy, when she thought that the wounds hadn't been something to worry about. But the trek back from camp from literally from the other side of the territory bleeding from two injuries was exhausting.
"Yo, Sundust," she called out, trying to lean on the wall almost nonchalantly. "I need some more of those, uh, herby-thingies."
Well, at least it wasn’t infected. “Good stars, Bumblebreak, did you get into a fight?” That was the only possible cause Sundust could come up with at first glance. There was nothing accusatory behind his words, just concern, though that may not convey properly in his monotone voice.
He went to his storage to fetch those “herby-thingies” as Bumblebreak had put it - his marigold stock was looking pitiful. He would have to look for some of those yellowbells Fawnlight had described. He returned with two scraps of marigold, not willing to spare any more quite yet. He began chewing them into a poultice, in the meantime waiting for the explanation that Bumblebreak would hopefully give.

Blazingpaw could only smell bitter-mixed-with-sweet herbs that laid inside. Whatever the sources that are making this aroma, the large tom did not want to think about having that stuff on him!
His ears swiveled and his nose wrinkled along with a disgusted snort at how Mottlepaw gave a title of “Mr.” to a medicine cat. Amused by what seems like an attempt of Mottlepaw being a suck-up, Blazingpaw reluctantly joined in to give an explanation to the med-cat. “Yeah, we –um– had an incident. In the apprentice’s den.”
Sundust’s catbrows raised at the vague description. “I’m afraid I’m going to need a little more elaboration than that.” Sundust padded over to Blazingpaw and began dabbing wet moss on the wounds; he’d try to save marigold for the more severe ones. His ears stayed pricked, waiting with anticipation to see what the apprentices would say. If they were smart, they would tell the truth before trying to lie to him.
Oriolepaw was quite out of it by the time Mistylight and Flameheart got him back to the medicine den. He was vaguely aware that he was being set on the ground, the movement causing more pain to shoot through his shoulder. He yelped at the sensation, the feeling bringing him completely back to the world of the living.
His vision was still fairly fuzzy. He overheard Mistylight explaining his situation to Sundust. Oriolepaw was grateful for that, since he didn't feel much like talking right now. He was tired and in too much pain. I hope Sundust can make this stop!
( @/naiad You can go ahead and post now haha )
Good stars, what was it with apprentices getting leg injuries? Sundust swore this was the third one this moon. In a flurry of movement, he grabbed poppy seeds, cobwebs, and a stick and got to work setting the leg in place. Setting the cobwebs and stick to the side, the medicine cat nudged the poppy seed towards Oriolepaw. “Here, eat this,” he instructed, “It will help with the pain.” After giving the apprentice a moment to swallow the seed, Sundust gently but firmly maneuvered the leg into place. With one paw held the stick up and with the other he wrapped cobwebs around the leg and stick, holding it into place.

"Yeah!" Honeykit responded instantly, and then squinted, finally realizing she probably ought to be suspicious. "What task?"
¨Oh nevermind. I dont think the BEST KIT EVER. Can do it.¨ Acornkit tried to have a disapointed look. ¨Just think what all the cats would say. Oh well i guess it wont work¨

Honeykit's ears flattened against her head with worry. "But-" She tried, stammering slightly. What if Thunderblaze found out she couldn't do something very special and secret? How disappointed would he be in her then? "I can- I can do it. Really!"

Honeykit could not help it. Could not refrain the whimper that bubbled up her throat and echoed in the nursery. And neither could she help the fact that her eyes began watering ever so slightly at the thought of failure. "I can do it, Acornkit! I can do it!" She exclaimed, probably pronouncing her denmate's name right for the first time.
