Haildew walked out of the warriors den into the clearing with a yawn. He had overworked himself again last night, proving to not only others, but himself, that he was the best warrior he could be for his adoptive clan.
Where was the reward? He asked himself that every morning if he did something like this.
It is having a clan to call my own and cats to have my back when I need them, he reminded himself. He grabbed a thrush and spotted Snowbranch.
He trotted over hesitantly. "Hey Snow." he greeted her

Snowbranch’s Head jolted up when she heard pawsteps and her abbreviated name.
“No ones called me that in ages.” She commented, seeing Haildew approach.
“Getting some food?” She asked, her tail flicking. Her blue orbs surveyed his, and she soon lifted one paw to chew on one nail to trim it down and shed the outer layer. For her, sharpness of claws and quickness of mind was important. She smiled up at Haildew.
“ Care to join me?”

"Thats why I'm here." He chuckled. "To remind cats of their pasts." He agree wistfully. He nodded. "Yes. I'm Afraid I have to eat to live, though sometimes I wish I didn't." He smiled at his half-joke, searching her face and blue eyes that matched his.
"If you don't mind having me." He smiled down at her.

“I enjoy the company. Talking makes it easier to think, for me at least. Others say chit chat is a distraction.” She meowed, twitching her whiskers and taking another warm bite of her mouse. The fur was soft and chewy, her favorite part of the meal.

Haildew shrugged. Her words made since, as much as he did not like to admit it. "Yes I suppose." He agreed, flicking his tail tip in agreement with a yawn still showing his grogginess.
"I do too." He told her, as of, he had not gotten much of it recently because it seemed to him no cat was with him. Snowbranch was the first friendly face he'd seen in awhile. "Yeah, most of the times talking triggers my memory. It helps." He agreed with her, taking a bite of the warm, scent-ample thrush that seemed freshly killed.

Leopardpaw sat in a sunny place in the corner of the clearing grooming her fur after her day exploring the territory. Stretching her muscles she yawned settling down, soaking in the warm rays. She was beginning to doze in the warmth.

AloePaw pranced up to LeopardPaw, “Nice day isn’t it?” He sat next to the cat. He looked up at the sky and the clouds.

Leopardpaw turned to the tom as he sat beside her a purr rising in her throat. "It's a lovely day, Aloepaw," she purred, the warmth from the sun putting her in a great mood. "How are you today?" she asked him, her voice filled with happiness and warmth. She liked talking to Aloepaw, he was nice and she enjoyed his company.

“Not much,” He mewed still watching the sky, “I got some rest, I guess.” He looked down at Leopardpaw, and started laying down next to her.
