Today is the day! I'm finally getting to meet a medicine cat!
The energy was spiking off her pelt as the she-kit bolted across the clearing to the Kit Corner.
The tabby she-kit came skidding to a halt on the cold ground. "I'm here, I'm here!" she squealed, catching her breath as she examined Sundust. Her green eyes were wide with wonder and when they found the cobwebs and marigold, they managed to get wider.
It was a few moments before the she-kit would calm down. . . a little. Enough so that she would sit down and await the other kittens expected to attend today.

As she heard the final words from SparrowStar, she thought about her losses… It started with some friends from her childhood, Then her exiled sister, SleekRunner… LittleFern, her other dear sister… And her dear first apprentice, BeanPaw… She’d been through way too much to not do this. She hadn’t been doing much duties lately due to her depression… but she had to do this…
MallowHeart had to do this, not for others, but for herself. She needed to try for herself… “SparrowStar,” she stepped out from the crowd. She gave a smile she hadn’t worn in weeks… “You’re on!” She announced with a purr. ——————

Tidekit bounded across the clearing towards the kit corner, screeching to a halt just in front of Sundust and Treekit. “Hi guys!” She chirped happily. Tidekit loved learning new things, and she was especially excited to learn from the medicine cat today! The little kitten quickly took her seat beside Treekit and waited for the lesson to begin.
@SpiritedWarrior // Just so you know, she has an upper respiratory infection. I'm thinking it should only last around 2 and a half to 3 weeks. Also it's not a fatal one. //
Creamcloud was resting when she heard her name being called. She lifted her head up to see who it was. It was Flameheart, she was asking to talk, was she in trouble? She decided to greet her first, "Hello Flameheart," she then licked her paw and continued, "o-okay?" She meowed, standing up "I-I'm not in trouble am I? And why are you and Sparrowstar concerned?" Creamcloud questioned, tilting her head in confusion.
Looking around, she sniffed the air. The scent of cats she usually smelt were much harder too smell than usual. Suddenly she sneezed. Shaking her head, she sat down, wondering when Flameheart was going to bring her to Sparrowstar.

Tidekit heard Minnowkit shuffle away, growing quieter and quieter until she could not hear the other kitten anymore. She waited a reasonable amount of time and then spun around quickly as if she expected Minnowkit to be right behind her, but of course she wasn’t. “Ready or not, here I come!” She crowed happily before bounding off into the clearing.
It took her quite some time, but eventually… “Hah! I found you!” She reached over the rocks and gently nudged Minnowkit with her paw. ”Now it’s your turn to count!”
"Ok!" She stumbled out of the rocks with a bit of a struggle before turning her back against the stones. "1, 2, 3...." She continued to count
Sundust looked to Cherrykit, ears flicking forward as he listened to her questions. “It can be stressful, but helping my clanmates is worth it. There are a few cats in ThunderClan who know herbs, so they can help me with needed, or I can ask the other medicine cats for help as well.” Actually, that would be a good point to touch upon quickly. “See, medicine cats have a treaty. We are supposed to help cats regardless of their clan, and we are meant to help each other take care of our clans despite any bias or tensions. During our half-moon meeting we will discuss different herb and healing techniques, which helps prevent situations where I may not know how to treat an ailment.”
Seeing as that was the only question, Sundust continued on. “The final plant we’re going to touch upon is poison ivy.” He hovered his paw over the plant. “Poison ivy is, as its name suggests, poisonous. You do not want to touch it under any circumstances; if you do, it can make you very itchy for up to half a moon. The easiest way to identify it is the way the leaves are grouped into threes. It’s also important to bear in mind that should never eat any strange plant.” The medicine cat paused a moment so the kits could absorb the information. “Alright, that concludes our class. Thank you for attending, and please come find me if any of you have questions about herbs. You all are dismissed.” Sundust dipped his head to the kits, then rose to his paws to begin collecting the plants used in the lesson.
"Thank you sundust!" Minnow'Kit chirped, giving him a grateful smile before padding away
Tidekit scrambled to look for a place to hide far away from Minnowkit. First, she tried some rocks by the nursery, but they were too small. Next, she tried to hide out next to the warriors den but this gained her some disapproving looks and she didn’t want to get in trouble. Finally, she nestled herself behind some rocks near the prey pile. She’ll never find me here! Tidekit thought to herself; unfortunately for her, however, she didn’t realize her tail was sticking out.

Minnow'Kit looked around for a few seconds before noticing a small tail sticking out from the prey pile rocks. "Found you Tide'Kit!" She said, pawing her small tail
Tidekit squealed and jumped out from behind the rocks. “You got me!” She laughed gleefully. “You’re a lot of fun Minnowkit!” She nudged the other kitten playfully, a smile spread across her face. “What do you want to do now?”
