She wanted to scream, though she didn't want to be the first to upset the tom. Stormwing doubted she would be. Then again, if there was even a chance... she didn't want to take it. Following Leafpaw, Stormwing thought for a moment about how best to not annoy him. It might be nice to have a friend without worrying about bothering him for once. So, she wasn't going to worry. She was going to make sure that she did everything absolutely perfect and didn't bug him at all. And that way, there would be no need for her nervousness! It would be alright. The tip of her tail twitched back and forth as she did so, the slightest of smiles on her maw. Though it was more nervous then anything else. Irritating, but true. Too bad. She had been looking forwards to Leafpaw being her newest friend... though she was going to have to be careful how attached she got. Meaning she was going to have to keep her love life far away from her newest friend. It seemed bad luck followed her everywhere she went... first Crowpaw had disappeared, and no one in Windclan-- when she saw a Windclanner-- ever had heard of 'Crowpaw' in the way that she described him. Then Hiddentalon had died, causing quite a bit of grief to the silver warrior. Stormstrike had ended up with Snowstar-- of course he would! She was his best friend. Besides that, she was the leader... who would want an ordinary warrior? That was all that had happened to Stormwing, and now she was alone. It seemed that she was cursed to have bad luck with love, no matter what she did. Something that she was quite confident of and growing more confident of by the day. A sigh escaped her maw and she continued closely behind Leafpaw, partly not wanting to let the younger cat out of her sight at all.

(Character development!)
Even Leafpaw didn't know why he was so calm all the time. Well, maybe a little bit, he understood a little bit. His calmness, was a very difficult thing to understand. To why he was so calm, was a mystery in its self. Maybe its not to burst out in anger and vengeance for his mother's death, maybe just to keep his sanity in check, their was many answer to it, many, many answers. Leafpaw's ears flicked as he walked through the forest, a thoughtful, but tired expression on his face. He was learning, a lot of things these days. Things about himself too. Maybe, his calmness was him, showing how much he's grown, his maturity, higher than anyone else's. It was unique, it was mysterious. And yet, Leafpaw wanted to be a little bit normal. He walked toward his collection, a small smile on his face. It was still here, and he was proud of himself. He hid his stuff well, very well indeed. It was where, no cat could find it. He flicked his tail, signaling he found it. "Its right here." Leafpaw mewed, a hint of pride in his voice, as he looked toward piles of pebbles, feathers, and anything you could find. It was a lot of stuff, about seven piles of stuff in his collection. A hobby, he shook off after he became an apprentice. He didn't have time for it, as much as he would of liked, and he honestly wanted to continue collecting stuff, but it was too much stress for the young apprentice, so it became just a small hobby of his, that no one but Remorapaw knew. And now Stormwing, knew about it too. It was nice, to be honest, a very nice, refreshing thing, to show something that he worked hard on, and it filled him with a lot of pride. Lots of it too. It was nice, too. Nice to have, more friends than ever now. It made him happy, happier than he'd ever been, as happy as he had been before his mother died. It was comforting, most of all. So, so comforting for the tabby apprentice. Comforting to know that he had friends, by his side, hopefully, for as long as he lived. He would, maybe, finally let go of his anger for that dusk syndicate cat, and let go of his sorrow, to let go. He knew he would see his mother someday, again, and be reunited, but now, was not the time for that, not yet, anyway.

Re: ThunderClan Territory
Even before Duskpaw said a word, or looked at her, Amberflame realized that she was probably going to get a less-then-understanding response. Which didn't bother her in the least, if she was being honest. Why would it? A lot of things did bother her, but this would not be one of them. Not at all. And yet still, Duskpaw's comment made her flinch just the slightest bit. A retort was definitely justifiable here. "I could tell. Looks like you should be finding your mentor, young one." She growled back, though in a lower tone of voice, like she didn't really want to be saying that. Amberflame was still a young warrior! It had barely been two moons since she had become one, and unfortunately her maturity level was still at that of a 10 moon old, sarcastic apprentice. Her retorts were always justifiable in her opinion. Excusable, that might be a better word for them. Since she was constantly making excuses. But, at the apprentice's softer remark, Amberflame's own hues grew gentler. What was she doing? Making fun of an apprentice, how... that was a low blow. "I'm-- sorry. Look, you just need a little more work. Keep your tail down. Eyes focused on your prey, which if you're facing the right direction, should be straight ahead. Try and stay balanced." The female smiled after a moment and then waited for Duskpaw to carry out her instructions; unless she didn't feel like it, which the thought had never crossed Amberflame's mind.

Stormwing looked down at the assorted objects. Pebbles. Feathers. Unique leaves-- or were those just on the ground? Either way, they were pretty. She scooped up one of the feathers with a paw, looking at it closely. "Wow. Leafpaw, these are..." Her voice trailed off as she set it back down carefully, not wanting it to get lost. "Beautiful." A moment later her sentence was finished and she sighed, sitting back with a satisfied expression. How could they be anything but? The beauty of the colors was only rivaled be a few things, things that at the moment seemed to have left her mind. She had always liked birds. Just to look at them. And, to be honest, the taste as well, but their colorful feathers had long captured her interest. It was a secret of hers. And while it may not have the same shock value as a more serious secret, at least it was an honest one. "What's your favorite thing in here? Or, favorite group of things?" She quickly added the last question, realizing it might be hard based off of the smooth grey, white, and black stones... and was that a red one? A blue one? Or were those just her mind playing tricks on her? The feathers, though some were duller colors, were still sparkling in the sun, glinting like they still had life in them. How was that possible? Somehow, it was. And Stormwing was loving staring at all of these. She could have stayed here for hours. "And you just, collected all of these?" Her voice seemed to hold admiration. Surprise. How... how had he collected all of those objects, managing to keep them together? Was that even possible? Apparantly so, and Stormwing sighed in contentment as she continued to keep her ice-blue gaze on them. When they had first met it had been filled with anger and worry, burning within them like they were trapped there. Now? Wonder. Like a kit seeing the world for the first time. But all these things were very, very wonderful and Stormwing still couldn't seem to wrap her mind around the fact that they had all been gathered by the tom. A beautiful collection indeed. The only one she had ever seen, granted, but it was still beautiful.

(More character development!!!)
Leafpaw gave a smaller, softer smile at the she cat, a thoughtful, calm, proud, and, a glint of tiredness in his leaf green optics. Well...this is surprising, to say the least, or most...I suppose... "Heh, well, I'm glad you like them." It took a long time to get all this...stuff, they were all special, all of them. Every single item in this little corner of the world, were special. But one, special thing, was more special than anything else in his collection. His eyes gleamed slightly at her question. "Favorite thing?" He repeated, ears flicking. "Everything here is my favorite, but I guess I do have a favorite." Leafpaw turned toward one thing that was separated from everything else, a small, medium sized pebble, given to him by his mother, it was a special thing. "This might sound stupid, weird, or bizarre." He gave a large sigh, picking up the pebble with his paw, carefully. "This pebble, is the most special thing in my collection, it was given to be, by my mother, and its one of the things I treasure the most, its a memory of her, of sorts, and its extremely special." An amused look in his eyes glistened. "And, its fragile." He mewed, looking toward her, tail flicking as she asked, another question, and the tone in her voice, admiration, it surprised him, greatly. "All this stuff..took a long, long time to collect, why I collected all of this, is something I can't share just yet.." Leafpaw mewed, a calm expression on his face, and a somewhat teasing tone in his voice, teasing. It was a tone, he didn't usually have in his voice, or look, or expression.

Duskpaw didn't really care that the warrior had completely insulted her like she had, or that she seemed to be genuinely apologetic that she had said it in the first pace. All the calico cared about was fixing her hunters crouch to get it right. She put her tail down low to the ground, allowing it to hover just above the dead leaves from leaf-bare. She focused her sight ahead of her, searching for her prey. She started crawling forward, slowly, silently, deadly. When she found the vole, it hadn't seemed to have noticed her. She quickly pounced, missing it by a claw-length. She knew her mistake; she pounced to early. She was too far away. The young feline got up and licked the dirt from her paws, waiting on Amberflame's response.

Shudders went down her spine at the thought, but she managed to shrug it off just a moment later. "Who are you?" She growled, but her question went unanswered-- or just very rudely answered-- by a kick that sent her flying off of the tom and landing harshly on the ground. Now, Whisper had a fairly delicate body; one that wasn't made to be messed with in that manner. Thankfully she was unhurt, having twisted and fallen in just the right way, but it had definitely caused quite a bit of extra anger to enter her expression.
Despite the delicate fragileness of her body, her bones easily broken and muscles easily strained, Whisper had been a loner for almost thirty moons. She'd learned. And she knew how to take care of herself, too... as he advanced she was forced to jump to her paws, fur along her spine bristling and she showed her fangs in a warning, attempting to get him to back away. "Don't come any closer." Her voice was harsh, angry, and she scrambled backwards, suddenly seeming to be frightened. Whisper hated strangers. Dead cats didn't bother her half as much as a stranger did, not in the slightest.
Oh, she was absolutely terrified of strangers! Such an odd quirk for the feline to have, and yet it was one that Whisper did indeed have. A weird cat, was she not? But interesting. There was always something about her that seemed to draw others in, forcing them to look at her and study her as scientists might do to a new specimen. She didn't understand why she'd been given her name. Whisper. There was something soft, quiet, almost meek about her appearance. It wasn't the general, more rugged one that was given to a loner. Indeed not... as a matter of fact, it appeared to be the exact opposite! But then again, as it had already been determined by her actions, Whisper was different.
Even from the moment she was born she knew that she was different. A different type of loner. The she cat's fur began to prickle again and once more, she bared her fangs. A second warning. His words made her want to run. They were hard. Cold. Perhaps he wouldn't think twice about killing her, some cats were much too protective of their territory. And Whisper? She'd had a run in or two with some of those cats. They were scary. And yes, she did find some things scary! Like dogs. Ugh... dogs. The huge, harsh, angry creatures that had chased her before were the stuff of nightmares.
Her nightmares, to be exact. They'd haunted her dreams more times then she could remember and Whisper had a strong feeling that it wasn't quite over with the... dogs. "Does this territory belong to you? Because I've seen a lot of cats on it before. You don't do a very good job protecting it." Her voice was scornful, like she was making fun of him for not protecting his territory. Of course he would be the only one here, right! Well, perhaps a family. Maybe the cats she had seen were his own family, they did smell a little similar to him. "Besides. I was passing through." Now that... was a lie. Whisper hadn't been planning on just 'passing through,' but it appeared she'd had a change of plans.
At least after seeing a monster cat like that she had. There was no way, no way that she was going to stay in this place and let herself be bullied. Perhaps she should just... get rid of him? Nah. As long as he left her alone. "And now, I think it would do you and me both some good if you were to back up." It was a warning. Albeit a gentler one then she had anticipated it sounding, but she was warning him all the same. Back up or get hurt, your choice. She thought. But Whisper wasn't going to stand for this. There was no way, no way in the world that she was going to deal with an annoying tom.
See, Whisper seemed to have two different levels of security... one was being by herself, and another was being around friendly she cats. Toms scared her. They really did. It seemed Whisper was not a friendly, sweet feline after all. Couldn't there be some cat greeting me with a friendly welcome party for once? She thought, an annoyed expression crossing her features briefly as she stared at the darker tom.

''I should be asking you that.'' Riskwatcher replied, hissing once more. ''You're on thunderclan territory...clearly uninvited.'' He says, and advances upon her even more. The she cat seemed weak. Puny, even. She looked like the type that he could take easy advantage of, and this pleased Riskwatcher. In fact, it pleased him entirely that he forgot that he couldn't even smell her--or smell anything in that matter. Just like that, his mood had dropped, only slightly, but not enough that he would allow the other feline see that he was having problems.
His first and foremost job was taking care of the clan. From feeding, to guarding, and even chasing mangy poachers out the territory. Yes, very mangy, and yes she was a poacher. A trespasser on lands that weren't hers. If she smelled other cat scents, shouldn't she not welcomed herself here? Riskwatcher was a loyal cat of the warrior code, unlike many others. He could find himself hurting her pretty badly, but killing her? No. The tom would never find himself killing another. It was not his specialty. Though, she looked like she was ready to kill him.
Or was it all just a facade? Hoping to scare him out his wits, and have him run away? ''Ha!'' He shouted aloud, not meaning to. He growled to himself, and in order to make up for his mishap, he continued, ''Funny that you warning me to stay away, but,'' He swiftly jumped in front of the she cat, his tail lashing and hues dances. ''You're the one who seems scared. What if I don't back away? What will you do then?!'' He shouted towards her, hissing once more. ''Huh!?'' His voice was deep, rasped.
As he gazed at her, waiting for an answer, he recognized that she wasn't really worth the fight. She had a delicate frame, possibly easy to lose in a battle. However, this did not deter the tom from protecting what was his. He knew that if she attacked him, he would be ready for a fight. He wasn't that old. He got many bones that are always ready for a fight. Just thinking on those motives, the tom felt his muscles tensed, and for a quick second he looked down at them, uncomfortable before he took a few steps back from the she cat.
The fur that stood on end ceased, and laid flat against his pelt once more, but his eyes continued to stay narrowed as he looked at her. ''This territory belongs to Thunderclan.'' He states, somewhat proudly, as he had known this as his home since kithood, and nothing change. Sure, the clan had went through many different leaders and deputies in a short amount of time, but other than that the tom enjoyed living within the free outdoors of Thunderclan! ''I protect it because it is my home. And, which you are not welcomed.'' He tells her, picking up one paw and pointed into another direction. ''Go and lollygag on the other clan's territories instead of Thunderclan.'' He tells her, hinting to her that he was giving her one more chance to leave.
But, then...what if she didn't leave? What if she was being defiant. The tom hated stubborn she cats--well, anything that was stubborn. Not only she cats. He would expect to be shown respect. He was a great warrior, loyal to the max, never strayed away, and was always flexible. Respect was all he asked for. Wasn't it only fair if he could have the respect in turn?
The tom once again stared at the she cat, his eyes turning into dangerous slits. He wanted to decipher her scent, but he knew he could not. How long have she been lurking around here without any notice? If he could only detect her scent he knew Snowstar would be able to handle the situation. Or, Fennelnose. They could strike some fear into this she cat, but since the two weren't here, and possibly busy, the tom had to put it in his own paws into order to light some fear in her heart. Riskwatcher was great at knocking fear into other cats' hearts. It was simple, being with his deep voice, his uncaring natural, and the way he would force himself upon others until they succumbed to his will. Sounds violent, but the tom knew violence helped a lot in a situation. Maybe...even, this one.
''Back up, huh?'' His voice was soft. Deep. It was a note of feigning friendliness, that held true harshness in it. As he,once again, advanced upon the she cat, his claws unsheathed, he looked down at her, a good distance, but close enough. ''Are you really telling me to back up,''He paused, staring at her, his eyes hard, ''In my own territory!?'' He shouted, growling at her. Though he sounded as if he owned the whole thing, which he didn't, but he was a protective tom. No matter what or who it would be other. The tom was quite territorial. ''You should be the one backing up! Give me one good reasons as to why I shouldn't shred your life apart?'' He says, a sinister expressions appearing on his face. The tom never liked much violence, but he knew it had the upperhand--the upper power that made one wants to listen to another. He had hoped that he was doing this with the she cat. Maybe she would leave, and go bother the other clans.
As for Riskwatcher? He would feel like a hero. Driving out unwanted company from within Thunderclan territory. His mind had wandered back to what she started before. She was passing through? Passing through, huh? It was hard to believe that, that's all she was doing. She seemed to know the place well, and remained their longer than she intended. Riskwatcher never thought it would come a day as this! The dark tabby knew he would be getting a kick out of this. Perhaps, chasing her out would be a good option. Just running after her until she got tired if she refused to leave. Even though the she cat told him to stay away, Riskwatcher wouldn't listen. Why should he listen to her? Who was she exactly? Riskwatcher wasn't the least afraid of her. In fact, her warnings towards him, only made him advance on her further.
