Neko struggled frantically to break free of his attackers hold, his best move which was now impossible to do would have been to summon a weapon to help him out, but instead he improvised by stepping hard multiple times into Moonlights foot. It wasn't the cleanest way to deal with a choke hold but it was what he had. Only until the pressure let up some did he reach his hand out towards his grimoire, flip to the area that he believed the object he was trying to summon was, and the rip the page out fiercely. As it materialized into reality he realized that the page he'd taken from the book was not the sword of light that he needed so bad right now, but a lasso that moved in whatever way he'd command it to. This was great, not the most ideal weapon but still a good one none the less. He made the rope move quickly to wrap tightly around Moonlights neck and yank her off of him, when he was free he took several deep breaths before speaking, "really a choke hold, you could have started off with anything and you chose a choke hold, you are one evil little witch." Neko then took a comfortable defensive stance, ready to counter whatever his boss had to throw at him.

Teddie darted forward, thrust the dagger into Neko's left arm, pulled to out, leaving a gash in his arm, and darted back, the spatter of blood from his arm staining her mask lightly.

"You think you can take my breath?" she asked with a slight chuckle. Oh how he was wrong. She turned into a black figure and his weapon went right through him. "Whats your best bet against a shadow? You cant hurt me..." she said as her voice faded and the shape vanished into thin air, only to jump at him once more and go right through him. Oops, she'd forgotten she also couldnt attack others in this form, well defense right now then.

Neko wasn't about to go through this now, he'd heard that it was always better to have friends on your side in a fight and that's what he was getting. He took off his hat and reached his hand in, a moment later he pulled out a dragon about the size of a horse and set it on Teddie. It was only meant to scare her or make her back off while Neko handled Moonlight.

Teddie screamed when she saw the dragon come at her. She turned and ran, trying to get away before realizing that it was a trick, and launched herself at the dragon, making it disappear in a puff of smoke when she thrust her dagger at it. She charged at Neko, trying to impale him with her dagger.

Honestly, when did this girl get such a brave heart and become such a big nuisance. Neko let out a tiny sigh, the stress was building up quickly and he was holding back a lot, but no more. He'd respect the boundaries placed on him, but he wouldn't let those rules hold him down. He placed the hat back on his head and flipped through his book until he came to the page he wanted, he ripped it out and it immediately transformed into the Katana of a fallen warrior. This was a weapon he was used to using, it was basically the equivalent of a sword's ghost and when it cut you it dealt no damage to your physical body but it did do damage to your soul. A tangible weapon that attacked a intangible thing. Neko readied himself as Teddie charged him, he waited until she was right in front of him before stepping to the side and swinging his sword down on her leg. The pain would be excruciating most likely, but after a little while the soul would repair itself and she'd be able to walk again.

Neko winced at the pain, but didn't let his guard down he was still keeping an eye out for Moonlight. He did take this time to rest though, he let the Katana go back to his grimoire and summoned another horse sized dragon from his hat, but this time it was just as real as the pain he felt.

Teddie dug through her bag until she found something that might help: sleeping darts. She loaded them into a small wooden gun and slipped the gun into her pocket, watching Neko make another dragon. She figured it was real. Come on, Teddie! Attack! Kill! No, I can't. I can't kill him. Teddie also spotted a real gun with five bullets in her bag as well. She put that gun in her other pocket and zipped up her bag and held her dagger tight, standing up.

Moonlight almost accidentally shouted at Teddie to shoot the thing. Oh no- that Katana was a spirit thingy one. That was bad news. "Wait a second-" she put her weapons away. "What were we fighting about? I really forgot" she said it genuinely. Like did he want power or something? She'd gladly give some of it, the amount of documents she filled everyday- man it was a lot.
