The tom followed the group out to the Gathering. It had been a while since one was held...or he was just avoiding them, as he often did. Being around groups of cats, let alone most of them being strangers, wasn't his cup of tea. But, he was apparently a keeper now, something about putting up a good something for ThunderClan. He couldn't remember, he was tired.
Ears twitched as he spotted a familiar face sit down, ah, so that's where they would sit. Why not just sit with everyone else, why did they have to have their own spot? They were just a warrior with extra steps. Letting out a snort as he sat beside the other Keeper, giving her a nod of his head in greeting.

Asterdance trotted into the Gathering, their nose twitching at all the scents. It was a bit overwhelming, but now they had a really good spot to see what is going on. Purrks of being a keeper, they guessed! Since they were one? It was, new. It was pretty nice.
Spotting Gentledoe in the crowd, with a perfect next to her, Asterdance was quickly making a small jog towards her. "Yo!" They mewed, and then. Betrayal. Expect. Asterdance was able to adapt. They approached the two, "Let me just... kinda.. scoott in here.. mhm, don't mind me, " They babbled, trying to situate themself inbetween the two.

Her plan to have Asterdance sit next to her was foiled!! And by... what was that smell? A messy tabby head turned to see that Spiderthroat had settled down in the place she had left for Asterdance, and suddenly she had to stifle a gag. Gentledoe raised her paw, attempting to subtly cover her nose. She offered strained smile to the tom- they were both Keepers, so she couldn't just... move. It'd be rude to do so regardless!
But thank the stars above, as a familiar voice reached her ears, Gentledoe's face lit up. She lowered her paw from her nose and shuffled slightly to the side, allowing Asterdance to scoot in between her and Spiderthroat. Her gaze softened upon the sight of the other warrior, and she brushed her tail against their side in greeting.
A sympathetic smile made its way to the apprentice’s face, “Thanks, I guess I only think that way since dad did. And yeah, I had two siblings, but they died, I think mom named them Dovekit, and Olivekit, both symbols of peace, after they died, since both were stillborn. I guess mom wanted them to have peace.” brightening at the next comment “Upur adoptive family sounds nice, I wish I had one, but I guess I was just community raised.”

Fallownose’s ears twitched as the rain continued to fall, his gaze distracted from Alderstep’s reply, whatever it may be, by a commotion. Scalescar and… was they the same apprentice from all those moons ago? He remembered having to break them up when Scalescar, then Scalepaw, had gotten aggressive. The deputy had thought it was a harmless crush, and there had been no other signs or was nothing more, until now. Fallownose couldn’t believe he hadn’t noticed during the time Scalepaw had been his apprentice.
What was worse was Scalescar was a warrior now, and the other she-cat still seemed to be an apprentice if her reaction was anything to go by. It was… disgusting. “I suggest you speak with that apprentice about this matter. I will handle my warrior,” he said to Alderstep before leaping off the rock and weaving his way through the crowd to where Scalescar was sitting with Dawnbreeze.
“Scalescar. I don’t know what just happened between you and that ThunderClan apprentice, but you are a warrior. That type of behavior is disgusting, not to mention she’s from a different Clan. Cliffjumper will be escorting you back to camp, where you will remain until Twilightstar and I return from the Gathering and decide a fitting punishment.” Fallownose’s tone was cold, leaving no room for argument as he signaled Cliffjumper over with a kink of his tail.
Cliffjumper let out an annoyed flick of his tail when Fallownose began to scold Scalescar. He left where he was sitting with Ashclaw when the deputy ordered the orange tom to escort the newly named warrior back to camp. The flame-coloured guardian led Scalescar back to camp, somewhat feeling bad for the ThunderClan apprentice who threw her tantrum.

"Great" Starry purred, her tail moving back and forth.
Wait a minute... why was she so excited over a walk? Starry puzzled again. A walk, in a forest she had seen a million times. A. Walk. Why did this feel like it would be brand new, a different place, a different smell, a different sight? She knew the forest so well, so why did she feel like it would be new? She could walk to thunder path, carrion place, and Swamp with her eyes closed without stumbling a bit! She was sure of that so why, why did it feel new? Again, Starry shrugged hoping the words she was looking for would come to her, someday.
"The sky is pretty" Starry added.
Starry looked up, the stars and moon were filling the sky to the brim with light and energy. Starclan must be happy. She guessed. She stared at the stars, the bright glowing beams that looked down on the clans every night. The light bulbs that she made theories about with her friends and family and by herself when she couldn't sleep. The stars were just so so comforting. They were pretty and gorgeous, the moon was pretty too. It looked like the stars but bigger. each star its own Starclan cat. The stars were glowing extra bright that night too, they made the clearing look like it was being lit by tiny white lights, and technically it was. Starry shuffled herself to a more comfortable position to look at the sky.
"Dazzling, just like y.." The words came out just like word vomit (Word vomit: used in mean girls) "Like you" She finished, embarrassed at what she had just said she smashed her eyes down to her paws. Her face went red.

Drippingpelt starer at Starrylight before looking away, staring at the other cats. "Sure..." She muttered. Doesn't the sky always look like that? No, it gets cloudy. Her eyes widened at Starrylight's next words. "Dazzling, just like y... Like you." She whipped around to stare at the other cat, ears pinned. "What?"

Lionpaw was in no rush to trouble his mentor again, so he swallowed the urge to snap at Springpaw. Ignoring her little jab, he responded with as much nicety as he could muster. "It's good to see you too Spring," He said through gritted teeth. That last word he spat out as if he had just eaten crow-food.
He chanced a look at Darklight, hoping the scarred tom would appreciate his efforts. The nickname he had given to the she-paw was in no way a sign of kinship. In fact, he found it insulting to refer to someone by anything other than their given name.
He turned back to Spring with a look that dared her to insult him again.
