"O-okay." Blackkit hesitated before she lunged forward and batted the ball towards the black and white molly.

She hoped that the hit was alright and watched as the green ball sailed towards the cat she recently met.

Sandkit took a deep breath and sat down with her tail wrapped around herself, looking downish at Honeykit and entering leader mode. She tried not to react when Honeykit spoke in a "low and serious" voice, and you could hear her holding back giggles before breathing again and shaking herself off. She coughed in her own "deeper" voice as if nothing happened and continued to be what she thought was intimidating. Who knew faking being leader was so hard? Sandkit thought. When Honeykit whispered to Sandkit, she paused a brief moment in thought.
"I guess so, but who are you right now?" she whispered back, as if the fact this wasn't real was some sort of big secret.

Honeykit grinned at Sandkit's leaderly stance, even thought it almost broke due to Honeykit's terrible voice acting. She nodded at Sandkit, actually looking. . .well, not serious, but more focused than her usual self. "Hmm. . ." She hummed, "I guess I'll have to be Honey, uh, Honeybunny?"

Oh stars no, that was a bad name. Another stifled giggle it was. It was so difficult trying to act like a gritty warrior, but she breathed in, and tried again. She smoothed down her fur with a quick lick, and said,"Looks like I'll have to be Honeyfur!" With a final nod, she backed away from Sandkit (or 'Sandstar'), and puffed herself up again. In a slightly higher voice that didn't sound so weird, Honeykit said,"Greetings Sandstar! What news do you bring?"

Blackkit watched as the ball sailed towards her before she leaped and took a second bat at it, this time sending the fuzzy green ball slightly higher than where she sent it last time.

She didn't want the mossball to accidentally hit another cat and watched with a slight hint fear in her expression.

Zerosight finished his leg, stopped, and listened while Remorakit correctly treated and binded the apprentice's leg. When they were finished, he leaned forward and felt the kitten's work, realizing with a tiny bit of shock that she had done it very well. Sure, they could have wrapped the cobwebs a bit tighter, and maybe chewed the comfrey a bit more, but it was really good for a first try. So, he swallowed his anger for a bit, lowering back into his reserved shell for a few mere moments. "It's... good. Good job..." He meowed quietly, turning away to clean up the extra herbs.

Zerosight considered his options: He could say that they did it wrong, and maybe that would get this kitten off of his back. Or, he could tell the truth and repeat that it wasn't bad at all. But, he didn't really want them to leave... right? After a moment, he made his decision. "No, it was alright," He repeated, this time in his normal voice. "You show promise." The tom's heart ached at speaking those words to a cat besides his beloved Northpath. The blind medicine cat finished putting the herbs away and moved the injured apprentice to a nest further in the den.
