ghostpaw had noticed something about briarcloud. what it was, she wasn’t sure. she decided not to concern herself with the matter. she could only control herself- not the thoughts of others. upon frogkit’s outburst, briarcloud turned to watch him. her gaze was unmoving. “my name is briarcloud. next time you speak to me, use my name.” her words sounded harsh, but her tone was pleasant. she began to lick one paw absentmindedly. “i didn’t laugh, by the way. i think you’re seeing things.”

russet tabby w/ white paws, green eyes
There were times and places in Alderstep's life where he would just bow his head and go. But he was long past that, long past the days when he was weak. "I know that he's a kit. I can see that. Do you think I'd actually kill a kit? Tell me: do you really have faith in your own clanmates? I bet not. And I never said he was killing me. Stop stringing random things out of thin air," he said back, noticing how Cinderpaw was almost...herding him out of camp. His heart jumped up in his throat, a sudden image of him being exiled flashing in his mind. It was just a kit! And he hadn't been actually hurting him! Alderstep opened his mouth slightly to suck in air, though otherwise kept his face still. He doubted his eyes had their dead stare anymore, though. He could only hope that his anger burned through any sign of fear in his eyes. Not that he was scared or anything. He was a warrior, for StarClan's sake. Fear didn't happen, couldn't be afforded.
Alderstep lashed his tail, wondering if there really was a way out. Not physically. He knew that way out was just behind him. "Listen. Or not. I don't really care anymore what any stupid cat thinks of me. But whatever you've got going on there," he said with a pointed look at the scarred apprentice. "Figure that out before you start lashing out-"Oh, you little hypocrite. You think you're so smart, don't you?"-at other cats for small things. Besides, you're not the only one here who has thoughts and feelings. As for my cowardice, I embrace it. I revel in it. I love being a coward so much that I'd- hah. What was I saying? Oh. Right. I don't care what you think."And tell Sparrowstar that, too, while you're at it, won't you? Oh, but Alderstep would never dare add that bit.
He stayed on the brink of leaving camp and staying. He wouldn't turn and go now. No, he was desperate to hold his ground. Maybe that'd save some of his dignity. Probably not, though. Alderstep the kit-eater. It had a nice ring to it, at least. Maybe the whole clan would finally work to keep the clan's rats away from him now. Or they'd just kick him out. Could a cat take back all the prey they've ever caught? Because at the moment, Alderstep really, really wanted to. See how they like it now. Or not. He had a suspicious feeling that the clan could manage without him. A painful feeling, if not for the steely indifference that was sinking further into the russet tabby with every second. How had he gotten here in the first place? He'd just been sitting, and then his paw was being bitten by a kit. And then it all went downhill from there. And cats (What cats? Seriously, what cat was actually wondering, 'Hm. Where is Alder? Why is he never around?' None.) still wondered why he never stuck around in camp.
the tom scoffed at the kits outburst. he shot the youngster a firey glare of dismay. could you hold at least a small fraction of kindness in your bitter kit heart!? some matters are personal and better off cut short. he spat with a snarl. his gaze turned to the she cat who had called herself briarcloud. his brow quirked for a moment before he turned to face her. in a half joking tone he spoke teasingly perhaps he is seeing things. after all ghosts are best hidden away from prying eyes unless they come back for revenge with the last words he eyed the kit with a red glint within his eyes.
briarcloud listened to ghostpaw almost absentmindedly. she switched to licking her other paw. ”you’re quite poetic… um… ghostpaw? i’m not sure if i heard the kit properly.” with that, briarcloud turned to face the kitten. “you would do well to listen to him. sometimes minding your business is the best thing to do. no one is obligated to share any sort of information with you.”
Frogkit winced, but he stood tall. ¨No¨ He said, straight up and firm. ¨Frogkit refuses to allow weakness.¨ he says, looking at briar. ¨But Frogkit should have the right to know!¨ He said.
[Ill always love frogkit speaking in third person xd] @Kokichi @isabella

If my little profile dotty is green and i haven't replied to a post, please bump!
Please don't use colors that are difficult to see, White, black, and really any dark color other than purple are fine!
Doekit nervously padded into the clearing. If she was completely honest with herself, all she really wanted to was go back to sleep, but if she was to live in ThunderClan, she had to make friends.

Some cats would never raise their voice unless there was something really, truly wrong. So when Foxflurry rushed into camp fervently asking for two similar-looking apprentices, Cinderpaw could feel her heart dip into her stomach. Her fur raised to slowly stand on end as she wracked her brain.
Where were Hazelpaw and Dawnpaw? She hadn't seen the former in a while, but the latter... had she seen him slipping out of camp earlier? Cold shot through the eldest apprentice's veins. Foxflurry's next words only confirmed her worst fear.
No. No, no no. Stars-- "DAMMIT!" She screamed, slamming a paw to the ground. Hot, enraged tears wasted no time streaming down her face. How was she supposed to hide them, the fact that she was slipping, they were slipping! It was supposed to get better. They were worthy, they said. That meant that they were worthy going to war for. But an aching feeling within the molly told her that little would be done over this. Trudging over to the two conversing warriors, Cinderpaw gave them a look. One so white-hot it felt cold.
"Take me. Take me to the border so I can find them." She would throw herself across, enter their camp, and rip out the spine of whoever did this. Riverclan could do it. Shadowclan could do it. Now, it was her turn. Thunderclan's turn. And she was sure plenty of warriors would refuse to agree, but to Cinderpaw?
This was a much better cause to kill for.

The large tabby apprentice had been resting in the apprentices den but when he heard his friend yelling about something, he quickly got up and ran out to her, "Cinderpaw NO! You will die if you go anywhere near those cats!" he yelled as soon as he came to a stop to the scarred warrior, "Please don't go Cinderpaw." He barley registed any other cat that was present as he looked right into Cinderpaw's eyes, though he felt his heart racing in fear as he had a pleeding look, he didn't know what he would do if Cinderpaw happened to die to those monsters.

briarcloud placed her eyes upon the entrance to the nursery for a moment as a kit entered. she stared at it for a second and turned back. “listening when someone says no isn’t weakness. it’s respect. if you didn’t want to tell someone something, you wouldn’t like it if they forced you to. i think this is something important for ghostpaw. leave it alone, please.” her tone was firm. she didn’t blink as she spoke; her eyes were sharp and focused, but her expression remained neutral. her voice was still as placid as ever, despite its firmness. she hoped the kit would listen.
This cat looked funny to him. Why was his head the wrong way? It made him giggle some more. He'd never seen a cat with an upside down face. Wildkit stood up the right way. Oh wait his face wasn't upside down. Wait so this cat could make his face turn upside down? Cool! "Your face was upside down. How'd you do it?", he asked. The young kit felt the older cat move him over, but he just got closer. His fur was touching the other cats. He seemed to act intimidating, bu that went right past Wildkit's head. Just like most things.
Wildkit saw his tail move out. Snake! He got up and arched his back. He wasn't going to let it get him. He watched as the 'snake' lashed out. His fur stood on all ends. His paw raised up and he whacked the other cats tail. "I got the snake!", he meowed, trying to chomp down right on Aldersteps tail.
