calico tom with one green eye and one blind scratched eye

as the tom was pinned down he was blinded by pressure until he looked and saw the she-cat. why was she looking at him like that? when he got up the she-cat was talking on about how he was trespassing "i- im so sorry i didn't mean to- i must of stumbled on accident i swear!" he said frustrated. he sat down that moment to fix his fur *it took me forever to fix this! now i have to do it all over again* he thought. he hurried to fix it as best he could as he turned to leave as fast as he could. he didn't want anymore trouble then Shadowclan already was with Thunderclan.

tinypine tensed, running after him. ``wait!`` she yowled, trailing up on him. `` hold on, stubborn ShadowClan cat!`` she dashed after him, stopping in front of him; a desperate look in her eyes. why was she so eager to stop him? she didn't even know it herself. ``i know it's crasy saying this, but cant we meet up here tomorrow? just the two of us,``tinypine said, looking at him with wide, blue eyes.

as the tom was walking away he was stunned by what the cat said. "what?!" he asked.

the tom had many emotions. anger, fear ,confusion. but he didn't understand what kind of catnip this she-cat was taking, is she out of her mind? "i-ill think about it i guess" he said as he slowly started to back away and then ran for it as fast as he could away from territory

tinypine sighed, her tail lowering as she watched him left. the tom was obviously not wanting to have anything to do with her. with everything happening between shadowclan and thunderclan, why would he want to meet up? why did she feel so attached to him; even though they don't know eachother, at all?

...she doesn't know. but she hopes he'd show up.

the next day Creekstep had been pondering what happened the night previous, was he really going to talk to some random Thunderclan she-cat? then again if he's able to get some information he could bring it back to Dawnstar, it could help Shadowclan greatly. he'll just see what the she-cat wants; then he'll decide from there. very strange considering talking to people was the last thing he ever wanted to do. but he was curios. he made his way at moon high. sniffing the air for danger as he made it to the location *wouldn't sea stones be a better option instead of traveling into different territory? after all his scent would stay for border patrols-* he thought. * i cant believe im doing this*.

Acutely aware that Heronsnarl was not with them, but too anxious about leading the patrol to really figure out why at the moment, Redhawk listened to Sunpaw instead. An inkling of frustration bubbled in her chest but she quickly snuffed it out. She was in no place to take charge over any cats training, but hearing that the young tom hadn't even been outside of camp until now was... disheartening to say the least.

"Well, a border is a good place to s-start," the warrior grinned as she glanced across towards the moorland that stretched away from them. "WindClan is over that way. We haven't had much trouble with them, I d-don't think." At least that's what Red thought. WindClan wasn't even a concern that popped up in her mind, not like ShadowClan and RiverClan were. They were blaring and ever-present.

Sunpaw had a point with his next statement though; how were they suppose to find any plants with leaf-bare inching so close to the forest? Already the chill in the air made Red rethink the whole patrol. Frost killed plants, didn't it? And if she recalled correctly she could remember seeing a light dusting of it a couple days ago. "They do, y-yes. But maybe there will be some where t-the frost can't reach." Pausing beside the roots of an old tree, Redhawk circled the base of it but came up with nothing.

Hmm. Her ears felt back a little bit as there didn't seem to be much. Near a scattered pile of leaves and sticks was something silvery, and upon locating it her ears shot up again. Padding closer and reaching past some undergrowth Redhawk withdrew her paw to find it covered in cobwebs. "It's not f-flowers, but cobwebs could surely be useful." It meant that they wouldn't return empty-pawed, at least.

HeronSnarl padded up, flicking her ear.

She sniffed, looking under bushes and trees, spotting one or two yellow flowers and nipping them off near the base.

She padded over to her patrol mates.

"Those?" Sunpaw asked skeptically when Heronsnarl joined them, immediately finding what they need. She'd mostly ignored Redhawk, she wasn't here to be mentored by some nobody. She was only here because she had a task to carry out. "They look puny." Uninterested in the reason really, nor in the fact that there's not... very many of them... only about 4 and they looked half dead. Probably thanks to the cold like the jittery molly was saying, but whatever. Sunpaw picked a couple of them feeling largely indifferent about the whole ordeal and turned to look at Redhawk, ears slightly flattened out in irritation - the grass below her paws was cold, she wanted to be back in camp where her paw pads wouldn't freeze off.
