When Twilightstar motioned for them to back off, Shockpaw's ears flattened and they did as ordered.
As Leopardpaw bled out, they watched with some satisfaction, knowing she couldn't physically cause harm now.

Oaksting hadn't been present for the last executions, cooped up in the medicine cat den while his broken legs healed.
Out of the loop on what was going on, his fur bristled at the grisly slaughter and his wide eyes followed Leopardbite's body as it crumbled to the ground. For once, he was shell-shocked-- speechless and unable to emit more than a strangled choke of surprise.
He didn't know this cat at all, she was some rogue that was allowed to join.. but he was disturbed by the killing in front of the Clan. It was.. savage. Plain and simple.
snailswirl closed their eyes when twilightstar leapt forward, but couldn’t block out the moans of pain and cries of sorrow. there was a difference between a cat being injured and a cat being executed. they could handle the former; not so much the latter. leopardpaw deserves this, yes. but another gruesome execution in front of young members of the clan?
Coyotesnarl would only stare forward, he knew Twilightstar would be dealing with leopardpaw and he couldn’t help but feel slightly pleased it had been that way. He could t exactly express his amusement for fear everybody would think he was a maniac, it wasn’t the gore he enjoyed. It was the fact that things were finally settled. Shadowclan could not go against windclan who’d purged the only threat towards them. Instead he wrapped his tail around his paws searching the crowd for the expressions of the cats gathered. Oaksting whom hadn’t seen an execution seemed to look absolutely frozen in time. The scarred side of his muzzle twisted in amusement.
He’d missed the last one. Lobster guy. Yeah that one. He took a breath and once again settled down expecting Twilightstar to resume the meeting despite the blood on her face. He’d call coldamber or Snailswirl to grab her moss and water if he had the chance.
HmmmMMmmmm ... Tired, Mothquiver breathed in and leaned forward, lowering his nails slowly to the ground so he would not stop in his head to see both Twilightstars and Leopardbites feel. With the fast and beautiful irony that is attached to karma, its execution, as the Leopardbit twins did, is clearly accustomed to. It would be better if they were at the end, yes. This is immersed in life and the last action in one's history, the show - the flame of glory! Except for lower fame and more like entertainment, like Leopardbit. Wild road.
"What's inside the neck," he said, noting that in the future this could be useful in the coming months, when memory will be invaluable among the family. And scholars like himself. Always a scholar! He said to himself, "Then I thought harder." like killing oneself.
HmmmMMmmmm... In his tiredness, Mothquiver squinted and tilted forward, careful to sink his claws into the ground to keep himself steady in getting a better look at the two Twilightstars and Leopardbites that were having a squabble. Well-deserved and beautifully ironic in karma catching up, an execution like those Leopardbite-twins were apparently accustomed to. Fitting they'd be on the receiving end, oh yes. It was the snuffing of a life and the final act in someone's story, a showdown-- a blaze of glory! Except, less of a blaze of glory and more like a blaze of gory since it was Leopardbite. Wild way to go.
"So that's what the inside of a throat looks like," he mused and noted for future reference, could be handy in the moons to come when a recollection of this would be highly treasured among the gossips of the clans. And the academics, like himself. Always the academics! To himself, he said with a wrinkled nose, "Stringier than I thought." Now that Leopardbite was Leopardbitten, Mothquiver seized the chance to sweep his gaze over the clan for reactions which would be equally important to articulate as the killing itself.
The leader folded her paws over each other as sat down in front of the kit and listened to her explained. Where did young ones gets such ridiculous ideas from? Twilightstar wasn't shocked to hear that she had been left behind, she was a little irritated to hear that there were apprentices roaming around outside without a warrior, but that was something else entirely. She already assumed she wouldn't be getting their names from Hazelkit so Twilightstar didn't ask. "I'm more disappointed in you than upset." She corrected with a scowl. "I told you before that kits aren't allowed out of camp and regardless of how close your are to the age of an apprentice, you are still a kit." Hazelkit hadn't earned her apprentice ceremony and with this behavior Twilightstar didn't even want to give it to her. "I really should make you stay in the nusery for another moon."
"And you should." Hazelkit emitted, she knew she had broken the rules and deserved a punishment. She still hadn't looked up from the ground but had stop shifting her paws.

Fluff? So that seriously her nickname with him. Twilightstar glanced down at her fur, she guesses she was a bit fluffy, but did that really.... you know what it didn't matter. Just gonna deal with the same way she dealt with the Twig nickname. "I don't particularly care what you do with your free time, if you want to train the medicine cats, go ahead, though I preferred they'd just take a lesson with the other clans' medicine cats like you did." It would help build a better relationship outside the clan with the other medicine cats rather then them relying on Snippy all the time. But as she said she wasn't going to demand what he does in his free time. "I need you to organize a battle training session with all the warriors and apprentices, make partnership the key goal around the session." She adds, WindClan had the numbers and they were going to use them as best they can. Plus the coyote attack had been a disaster, WindClan needed some extra training when it came to fighting. "Why am I allowing you to remain in the medicine cat's den again?" She asked almost sickly sweet.
@wren
The number of execution she's had to carry out has become obscene. It might have been easier to simply exile her and that was that, but her paranoia wouldn't allow that. Nope, dead threats couldn't come back to bother. Twilightstar had no clue where the molly would be going in the afterlife and didn't let her mind dwell on it. All that matters was that Leopardpaw was no longer a problem. The fact that she looked rather pleased to be dying was extremely disturbing. The leader had made sure to veer clear of the spewing blood. Twilightstar was sure her clanmates would be having their own little thoughts about the whole execution thing, they always did, but Twilightstar was pretty certain she just saved the forest from a psychopath.
Twilightstar excused herself, dragging the dead bloody body outside of the camp and leaving it there. It would be a pain dropping it off at ShadowClan by herself, but her mind was set.
Twilightstar did take some time cleaning the blood off her maw, she could do nothing about the taste. It always felt so weird continuing like nothing was wrong after an execution. She needed to either start killing cats at the end of a meeting or doing it somewhere more private, without her clanmates judging eyes. It seemed some of them were getting used to the whole killing bit see how many literally carried on with their conversations like she hadn't just ripped out someone throat. Desensitization! Good for them!! "WindClan hear me!" She yowled out as soon as she was back in the camp an on the Breezerock once more. "I will not tolerate senseless violence or acts of aggression against clanmates or clan cats. If you unsheath your claws or bare your fangs, you'd better have a good reason to use them. Leopardpaw took the life of a ShadowClan apprentice in some misguided act of revenge. She paid with her life for it." Twilightstar took a moment to let that sink in and see if any cats would raise a fuss about how she handled Leopardpaw. No one stood up or spoke up for the last two cats she killed, they could all think of the leader as they wanted, see the execution as they wanted, but if no one was willing to speak against her then that was that. She was aware cats had kits, yet still no one had spoken up about that. Kits had to grow up sooner or later, either avert their eyes or talk to her it really was that simple. After waiting a moment, she carried on with her meeting as strangely as it felt. "Coyotesnarl has given me his recommendations to replace him as our medicine cats. I have agreed with him and both cats have already accepted their new positions." It took her a moment to find the pair she was looking, glad to see the two were already sitting together. "Coldamber will be our medicine cat and Snailswirl will be her apprentice."
