Following her mentor, Thornkit was a bit ruffled from lack of sleep. The apprentices den was crowded, and her nest was plain. She would have to find some feathers or bracken for it soon. Where are we now? she asked, hoping not to annoy her mentor. @~RooRoo~

Um, how do I do that? Thornpaw mewed, watching her mentor but still a bit confused. This wasn't how she imagined being an apprentice! She probably was just stupid, and should know these things. @~RooRoo~

A mate? He hasn’t seen a second cat joining the clan- did that mean her mate was already in the clan? Oooh spicy. He could vibe with a little forbidden romance and it seemed that it had worked out fairly well for the two- they were lucky, a cat like Icestar and this could’ve ended quite differently.

Nodding as an answer, Rushingmoor looked around at the meeting though his eyes were distant. He supposed he had to start thinking of what to teach her. A lot of the things that might be different among clans were rather self explanatory but Rushingmoor supposed he’s explain them anyway. Better now than later too since he wanted to talk to Twigs after the meeting.

“Right, well, I’m meant to teach you how to be Windclan. Not much different from Thunderclan I would assume- same rules and code and stuff. Obviously, we hunt rabbits so I’ll have to teach you how to do that and how to avoid falling in a hole and twisting your paw and stuff...”

This was painful to watch but he couldn’t exactly blame them, They didn’t know what they were doing. He watched them pace back and fourth and finally coldamber come to a haunt on the marigold. He wouldn’t tip her off, she was smart and he knew that she could figure it out. There was no real way to do it right per say, but there was ways to do it wrong. She could smooth it out on her paws and gently dab it, or simply spit right onto the wound as long as she wasn’t too rough with fallenghost it didn’t matter.

He glanced up at Snailswirl for the time being, they looked terrified. “What’s going to lock that marigold in? It won’t just stay on itself will it?” he was hinting towards the use of cobwebs. Would be good to hold on the poultice.
