The young apprentice yawned as she emerged from the apprentice’s den. It was still new to her, the new living space, and she’d been having trouble sleeping the past few nights. She didn’t let it worry her, though - no amount of lack of sleep could stop her from being her usual adventurous self. And today was no different. Foxflurry was nowhere in sight, so she assumed that meant she was free to explore a little. As long as she didn’t leave camp, of course. That was the boring rat rule she’d ever heard. What harm could a little nosing around do? The answer to that question echoed around in her head, along with the memories of all the recent incidents that had occurred outside camp boundaries. Maybe she’d save the looking around for another time.
Hmm, what were apprentices supposed to do on days like this? The chilly breeze rippled through her short pelt, making her shiver. The motion was more instinctual than indicative of her being cold, and she brushed it off, bouncing towards the freshkill pile.
Autumnpaw remembered the rule about apprentices not being allowed to eat before the kits, queens, and elders were fed, so she snatched up a vole and turned around, searching for someone to feed. Someone interesting, preferably. She’d already heard all the elders stories, and they took forever to eat. The queens were always tired and grumpy or busy nursing their fur balls. That left one option - the kits! The older ones, of course, who were able to eat meat.
The young molly skipped towards the nursery, planting herself outside the entrance. “HEY KITS!” she called loudly, without thinking. Immediately she ducked, burying her muzzle in her paws. Oops. Probably shouldn’t wake the babies. Or the mamas. She tried again, softer, “Any kits want some tasty tasty vole?” she asked softly, ears pricked eagerly. Hopefully it wouldn’t be one of the whiny ones.
Oriolepaw’s head snapped down as a paw tapped on his shoulder. Momentary worry coursed through his body; had he missed someone’s call?
Fortunately, that was not the case. It was simply an inquiry about what he was looking at. He tipped his head to one side, it suddenly occurring to him that Wolfpaw didn’t know of StarClan and the Dark Forest. He was curious what it was like to live without the guidance of their ancestors. He knew a good number of Clan cats rejected StarClan, but at least they had the ability to turn back to them if they wanted. Without even the slightest bit of knowledge that they existed, Wolfpaw didn’t have that choice.
“I’m looking at the stars,” he said softly and quietly. He turned his gaze back up to them. “When a Clan cat dies, they have the chance to become one of those stars. They’ll only get to enjoy that honor if they lived a good life, diligently and loyally serving their Clan. It’s the greatest thing any Clan cat can aspire to.”

Lostgaze would leap down from an rock...she looked around her tail hold high. She couldn't remember why she had gone out of thunderclan but she hoped they would accept her back.
Poppy'Paw stared at her paws, taking in the information that seemed to hit her like a huge stone to the stomach. She took a deep breath before she spoke. "I...I went out to...Train myself...I.. I had finished my punishment of cleaning the elders free of ticks and...I wasnt being trained afterwards so I decided to go train myself...I didnt wait for Flameheart long enough and so I took it upon myself.." She explained, her voice barely above a whisper.
His eyes narrowed somewhat and annoyance flickered over his face at the explanation and justification he got. Stars, did he need to send this one to remove ticks one more time for this? "You know very well apprentices aren't allowed outside alone." He mewed. "Even if Flameheart wans't around to train, if you wanted training so bad, you could have asked some other warrior to accompany you." He remembered a meeting, back in the middle of summer, how Flameheart - Flamepaw at the time - had been told she needed to seek out training herself and not just rely on her mentor. Had the other keeper taught that same lesson to her apprentice? Well, it seemed to have gone a bit further than she would have wanted.
Batblood sighed. "I will let you back in on the condition that you take this as a lesson and take it to heart." It wasn't a lot to ask for apprentices to remain inside camp unless they had a warrior with them, so someone who didn't follow that rule wasn't someone who could be trusted to put the safety of a clan before their own interests and desires. "Can you promise me at least that?"

Yikes, she really was beginning to loose herself. It was pretty crazy with everything that was going on in the clan though. At least for her, she sighed. Stalking quietly forward, Batblood's nose remained close to the ground, trying to catch the trail of some prey, but the young Keeper's hunt was interrupted as the smell he found came from a cat. Dawnpaw was an apprentice Batblood hadn't seen in a good while, so he emerged from the bushes and moved toward her. "And where have you been? We haven't seen you in Thunderclan... for quite a while." He mewed a tilted his head slightly, ears twitching. "Care to explain that?"

The dark-furred Keeper had been resting on a branch in a tree after some climbing-practicing, just taking a moment to himself for his thoughts to fly free, without the annoyances of other cats around him, but a noise from below made him perk up. Lostgaze? She hadn't been seen for over a moon now. In a few smooth leaps, Batblood got down from the tree and landed in front of her. "Long time, no see, hu? Where have you been, because it certainly hasn't been in Thunderclan."

Poppy'paw blinked in surprise, she expected to at least be demoted to a kit for moons! "Yes, I promise, but please, dont punish FlameHeart. She didnt do anything, it was all me on my own actions." She asked, her eyes showing the need to know her mentor wouldnt be punished for her actions

Springpaw remained quiet as she listened to Rabbitchatter speak. Her name being special? She didn’t know how to properly think of it. His words did bring a warm feeling to her heart, a short smile being brought to her maw. Maybe his words were correct. Maybe her name was truly special. However, she couldn’t help but have a bit of doubt creep into her brain, causing her to question his statement about her name being special. “How… How do I know that my name will be special? I know you said that I have to find out that it is, but how will I find out that it is? Would it just… come to me?” Her voice wavered as she spoke, confusion and curiosity entering her at a rapid place. She didn’t know why she felt so confused or why she wanted to know so much. Maybe her curosity was getting the best of her? Again, she didn’t know.
However, she did look back up towards Rabbitchatter from him mentioning his old name. Confusion immediately entering the pastel young molly. “Wait, you had a different name? I didn’t know that. Were you always teased for having that name? Because you were always friendly?” The question in itself felt stupid to ask, but curiosity kept coming at her and she didn’t exactly know how to not ask the questions. She then looked in the direction Rabbitchatter pointed at where the city was. Her blue eyes went wide as her maw was open in awe. She never knew much about the city, but from her mentor’s perspective it must have had some sort of experience on him. “What was it like? The city? I heard that there is a lot of dangers in the city, but I’ve never known any cat that used to live in the city.” She admitted, giving a short shrug of her shoulders. She felt a bit guilty from all the questions being asked, judging from her immediately darting her eyes towards the ground. “Sorry about all the questions, I just… I don’t know much about you and I want to know more. Just as you do about me.” Her voice was filled with guilt, judging from her ears were pressed against her head. Or at least her good ear was.
From Rabbitchatter’s question about her siblings, a short smile immediately was formed on her maw. She liked to speak about her younger siblings. It gave her a sense of worth from speaking of her siblings. “Well, yes. I do have younger siblings. Three of them, to be exact. Winterpaw, Summerpaw, and Autumnpaw. Our mother-“ The word mother gave Springpaw a quick sense of doubt. She didn’t like speaking about her. But since she was speaking about her siblings, her mother had to be mentioned at some point. “-She… She named us after the four seasons. But she didn’t last in our lives for long and I never wished to think of her again. I stepped up and took care of my siblings after she left, they needed someone to look after them.” She seemed to realize that she ventured more than she should’ve gone, judging from the pastel calico immediately looking back towards Rabbitchatter and giving him a quick, crooked grin. She hadn’t grinned like that ever since she was with her siblings. She wondered how they were adjusting to apprentice life.
“Well, the first one I’ll tell you about is Autumnpaw. She’s uh… let’s just say she likes getting into trouble a lot. And those little… adventures of hers. But that doesn’t stop me from loving her. From the moment we speak, she might just be trying to get some kits out to get them do so something they shouldn’t do. Or even to just pull a prank on them.” Springpaw explained, making an eye-roll to herself as she spoke about Autumnpaw. That molly was the hardest when it came getting her to listen to whatever she said. She remembered it vividly. Almost as if it was yesterday. “Next up, Summerpaw. He’s seems to always be on the lookout for something to do. He’s always been ambitious, but in a good way really. He always seems to have some sort of rivalry with Winterpaw, but that doesn’t really stop him from being a good brother.” Springpaw admitted, giving off another smile. “Lastly, Winterpaw. He’s… the one I’m generally the closest with, out of all my siblings. He likes to come to me for whatever issues he has and I allow him to speak about his problems. I do for all of them, really. But I’m the closest with him. He’s stubborn and a bit offputting, but he is easy to get used to in a snap.” Springpaw explained, giving out a small chuckle afterwards. “That’s about it of my family, not much really to be said. Except that I took on the role of taking care of my siblings when they needed me most. That’s really it.” Springpaw concluded, looking down at the ground after speaking. However, one last question remained in her mind… “What about you? Did you have any siblings?”

Minnowkit walked around the nursery, her backleg dragging behind her normally. A small kit caught her eye...Was is...Fishki-no, Turtlekit! Yes! She smiled, padding up toward them. "Hi! Im Minnowkit! Wanna play?" She asked, sitting down with her deformed leg visible.

The tortishell kit looked at minnowkit when they called her by name. She looked shy and backed up slowly. But she knew that she had to break out of being shy at some point. "S...sure... Minnow..kit.." she mews back in reply and sees minnow dragging her leg behind her.

Stormkit was just lazily napping in the nursery. The 6-moon old kit woke up to an apprentice, practically shouting, in the nursery. Slowly, the tom sat up and looked at the apprentice, confused. Ah, she would like to share a vole with one of us kits, probably so she could eat.
"Sure, I'll share with you," Stormkit replied tiredly. The tom got up slowly, because of his crippled leg.
The tortishell kit looked at minnowkit when they called her by name. She looked shy and backed up slowly. But she knew that she had to break out of being shy at some point. "S...sure... Minnow..kit.." she mews back in reply and sees minnow dragging her leg behind her.
"Sorry if I scared you! And please, dont mention my leg, I dont like it as much as anyone else." She sighed. "Do you wanna play...Medicine cats?We could pretend to heal the warriors! Or maybe...Hide and seek? Im not the best when it comes to Cat and Mouse (Tag)." She sighed
