The squeaky cry of his name did well to catch his attention, much to his annoyance. With some reluctance, he made his way over with his ears pinned back. "What's the big deal?" he muttered under his breath, but loud enough for Winterpaw to hear.

Obviously, his sibling was upset, Summerpaw could tell you that simply by the way it called him. He just couldn't tell what had him acting like this, he was always weird in Summerpaw's opinion. But his posture did soften, he wasn't irritable enough to not feel bad when faced with an upset littermate.

"Well, just, calm down." The calico huffed, should've guessed it was that feather. He was empathetic, he really was, but it was hard to voice that when it'd be much easier to find if Winterpaw stayed calm. "No point ripping things up over it."

Well, now was a good a time as ever. The tabby had made his way somewhat close to the edge of this Clans territory. It wasn't WindClan which was all he needed, it was...the one related to storms, yes. After a moment, and taking a deep breath, the crossed the border, half expecting a hoarde of Clancats to be on his tail within seconds. That, however, was not the case.

He took a second to breathe, figure out what his story was to be. Would he play a sad little motherless child? Or maybe he would act as though his Twolegs have abandoned him out here. Once he came up with an ideal, he began to walk forwards, as if he were just taking a walk. Surely he would bump into someone, hopefully...

Fuzzkit! Yes. That was the boy's name. Gorsefeather swallowed, a sudden feeling of anxiety rising in his chest. Ah, what am I doing? I have nothing to fear. Dumb to be 'fraid of some kit, he thought to himself. But it wasn't some kit. It was... his son? His son. And Littlelion was gone. So.

"Fuzzkit, eh?" he replied, not knowing what else to say. Honestly, what even was he here for? What in StarClan was there to say to this kit? 'Hey you're my son that I ignored for moons and will continue to ignore for many more to come. Just wanted to let you know!'

Gorsefeather had warrior duties. He had his eye on a real she-cat, someone he actually liked. His days of pointless fun were over. He didn't have the time or energy to focus on Fuzzkit. He'll be fine on his own, Gorsefeather thought to himself, the slightest feeling of guilt suddenly pricking his conciseness.
