More blood was pooling and he could hardly bring himself to look at the cratered injury. It disgusted him…and he had nothing to take his feelings out on right now. No predator or cat he could rip his claws through. Instead he was crouched here, hopeless and sobbing, small hics coming through as he tried to breath. No cat deserved this. WHY? WHY SEDGEFLAKE? WHY DID HE HAVE TO FIND THE TRAUMATIZING SIGHT? WHY HIM. WHY HIM. Then the blurred voice of OwlTalon came…and multiple shrieks around…he could hardly focus on it though. His ears were pinned back as he was in dismay.
Then…OwlTalon was talking about breathing…why the hell was she talking about that…now? Oh…to calm him down. So he could say. What did this. Why is it that important…the rock will still be sitting there…? He tried to follow anyways and it calmed him decently, though his mind was still in shambles and tears were still falling. “R-o-roc-ks…”
It was hard, watching Rowanmane stammer and blubber for his words as he tried to explain the situation. It seemed that Stormstar wouldn't be coming anytime soon, so Owltalon decided to take the reigns on the situation. A pause settled into the air before the deputy responded. "Rocks, eh?" She echoed, her mind a bit drowsy at the sight of Sedgeflake. Stars above, she had to stop glancing over at him.
She forced her amber gaze up to Rowanmane. She blinked at him rather slowly. "In territory, I'm assumin'? Well chap, we oughta pay our respects. After that, we should go out into Seagrass Fields, look fer some lavender er mint ta dull the scent. If ya wanna come, of course." Owltalon began to think back to the general layout of territory. She knew there were ledges and bluffs all over the place, so it wasn't unlikely that a rock could fall.
The scarred she-cat winced. She wondered if she should talk to Stormstar about putting a sort of regulation to stay away from cliffs to prevent horrific deaths such as this, but what happened to Sedgeflake was a one in a million chance, and making restrictions would do nothing in the grand scheme of things given the chances.
She let out a sigh, a thin cloud of moisture accumulating at her scarred muzzle. She then reached out to Rowanmane, and put a calloused paw on his shoulder. "Aye, don't freak yerself out. Ya couldn't do anythin' 'bout the situation, I'm just glad it's bein' handled, yeah? If ya ever need ta talk 'bout yer..." She glanced over to Sedgeflake's bloodied appearance. "Unfortunate encounters with death an er injury, 'm free ta talk. 'Sleep in the same den as ya, so I shouldn't be hard ta find, yeah?"
She then turned her attention to those in the clearing. "This chap 'ere, Sedgeflake, just died suddenly to the unfortunate occurrence of havin' a rock fall on his head. I know he was a valuable warrior despite his short life. Come o'er 'ere ta pay yer respects. After a bit, me n' Rowanmane will send him out ta Seagrass Fields." The deputy then lowered her head and let her matted fur brush along the once living warriors side. She didn't know Sedgeflake well, but nocat deserved to die to suddenly.
CATS WILL BE GIVEN FOUR DAYS (UP UNTILL SUNDAY) TO GRIEVE SEDGEFLAKE BEFORE HE IS BURIED IN SEAGRASS FIELDS
Lavenderheart was sad that clanmate died so soon to other death, how much death can happen in one moon! also, the fact there was rocks falling from sky terrified lavenderheart, isn’t leaf- bare hard enough! Maybe if ask Owltalon the deputy to lead a hunting patrol, she least stop a few from coming! While she was tearing up she mewed “I’ll lead hunting patrol, if you like or attend one ,plz I want to stop this disasters from coming but know I can’t but I can least assist by hunting with my living clanmates!” @Marigoldwhisper
Vixenshade sat up from where she was lying down on a rock. She cleaned herself, then wanting to stretch her legs she started walking out of the camp. She turned around looking for a cat to go with her.
@Luna16
Irisdream had been grooming her fur nearby, and was just finishing washing her face when she noticed Vixenshade rise to her paws. "Are you heading out?" She asked politely, tilting her head curiously. Her paws were feeling uncharacteristically itchy. But then again, the clan was feeling...rather empty lately.

Yeah! I need to stretch and getting out of camp sounded good. Vixenshade turned and padded out of camp. The breeze felt good, even though it was chilly.
