So, do you want to go hunting? It might help you push them out of your head for a while. Willowwhisper said softly. Then she realized that they still had a trout to eat. Eh, we'll finish that later. @Beanz

Deerspark couldn't feel his paws.
He couldn't wait for the snow to melt, couldn't wait for things to finally warm up because Deerspark never liked the cold, or the runny noses that came with it. Yet, he was out in the clearing, not the warriors den. Why? Sleep paralysis. Also, he had an apprentice to train. A fairly old apprentice, but an apprentice no less.
He spotted the tom in the clearing and managed a crooked smile. "Uh... Hey. Rainpaw... Uhm. Yes? I uh, remember. You." The lengthy tom gave a nod of his head, tufted fur billowing in the wind. "Uh... Training? You... You ready?"
Deerspark couldn't help how slow he talked, his injury certainly didn't help, but his mind didn't aid him either, since it often moved faster than his lips. He couldn't help but wonder where Rainpaw had gone during his exile, if he picked up on anything along the way other than learning how to be alone. And, since he was way beyond the age of a normal apprentice, Deerspark wondered if he was embarrassed.
He hoped he wasn't. If wasn't his fault that his exile ended up being... Uhh.... X amount of moons. What mattered was he was back now, and Deerspark would try whatever he could to get them back on track... Hopefully. He kinda didn't have a lot of faith in himself.
The blue gray tabby looked up at Deerspark as they approached, and calling him by Rainpaw. Well it made sense, since there hasn't been a meeting to officially make him Floodpaw yet. But they were talking about training, which floodpaw needed. badly. "Its floodpaw now, and yes please. Could we see the territory or learn to fight?" he asked.
Okay, he still needed training. Floodpaw looked around the clearing, blue eye landing on Pebblesplash. The warrior had been around longer as Floodpaw has been in the clan, and she had to know some stuff to teach. The small apprentice made his way over, swishing his half-tail. "Teach me to hunt," he asked.

Deerspark would've actually shriveled up and died if he went back into territory. After that long period of time at Lionsbeach, he could barely smell out of his nose. No, he wasn't sick, just had really, really bad allergies. Terribly bad. Between that and fighting, Deerspark chose fighting.
He gave his runny nose a quick lick before he responded, taking note of the apprentice's new name. He supposed Floodpaw changed it because they already had a Rainpaw. That was reasonable. "Fighting. Keep... Keep. Your claws uh. Sheathed." Deerspark doubted that Floodpaw forgot that rule, even after moons of being away from the clans, but he thought it was worth bringing up.
"When... When you uh... Fight. Aim. For the uh... Spots. Spots with the... Most. Blood. Or uh. The most... The. Important." The color point explained, unsheathing his own claws to flick them at his own scars, scars that ached, but proved a point in where to strike.
"Bumblestar... Fought me... During. During the uh... Three v one." He explained. "Aimed for... My throat, muzzle, face, ears, tail... And uh... That's it." The only reason he made it out alive of that debacle was because Deerspark was deathly good at squirming and somehow managed to weasel his way from the Thunderclan leader, but not without a broken jaw, a shredded tail, and a chunk taken out of the back of his neck.
"The ears are... Something. Something that could uh... Potentially. Disable hm. Another erm cat. The uh. Shoulder. Aim for that too. The throat... And uhm belly... Bleed the most. Most vulnerable." He then spun around a bit, to reveal his shredded tail. It was already a stub at birth, but what once as fluffy and full was thin a crusted over with dry blood and scarring around his flank. "Tails... Are. Are essential for uh... Balance. Take that uh. Away, and you... Make somecat erm. Lose their footing."
He then lifted up his paw, and swiped after backing away from the apprentice. "Your... Blows.... Should be uh. More in the, hm. Shoulder or uh. Hm. Arm. Than your... Actual paw. Unless... You. Wanna end up hm. Breaking or spraining... Something."
The warrior paused to sneeze before saying anything else. Stars above, curse these allergies. "There are... Other. Ways of uh, fighting. More so, diversion. Uh. You could. Fling sand or uh... Blood, guts, snow at uh... Them. To buy... You some time. Hm. Uh. Preferably... In the uh eyes. Speaking of... Hm. Aim. For those. Too."
well, he had an apprentice to train now, it seems had an apprentice to train. The brown and white warrior made his way over to Crowpaw and gave them a soft smile. "h-hi. w-would y-you l-like t-to g-get s-some t-t-training d-done?" elksnow whispered. he wouldn't force the apprentice if they didn't want to, but it was his job as a mentor to train them after all.
[ @Rowan - ignore how absolutely late this is, will get turtle and antler done tomorrow ]

He nodded and looked over at her. “Yeah I would love to”

Willowwhisper got up and started walking to the camp entranced. I hope he can get over it and find someone new to love. Willowwhisper kept her pace with his, and swished her tail back and forth trying to cheer him up. @Beanz

He smiled sadly she was trying so hard to cheer him up he would just play along with her act. He ran a bit ahead of her and pounced onto an unexpected bug and held it in his jaws. “I dare you to take a bite!” He giggled.
