Weaselheart appeared soon after, wasting no time in getting straight to it. She rolled her eyes at the arrogant tom and snorted. "Like I would ever go back to that sinkhole. Even this boggy marsh is better than that."

She pricked her ears in amusement, "Trust me, I don't think you have anything to worry about." She was quite confident in her fighting abilities, even agaisnt the scarred tom. After all, he was the one with scars, not her. "Good," she snarled in response to his threat.

She unsheathed her claws swiftly and twisted as he sprang at her side. His claws caught the very edge of her fur, doing little more than tugging at a few strands of thick red fur. She grinned at him. "Too slow. Might want to consider moving to the elder's den. You don't want to embarass ShadowClan, now do you?" she smirked.

She crept sideways as she spoke, circling slowly. Green eyes flashing, she launched herself close to the ground towards his paws, attempting to use her size and strength to bowl him off of his feet. She made sure to keep her belly facing the ground and instead focused most of her energy into her left shoulder.

Pinepaw shrugged. "Not anything... Those, like 4, mentors of mine never took notice of me or trained me. It's the reason I ran out of camp before and had to spar Dawnstar. I lost, and got let back in anyways, but she only acted once and I don't recal it well... So yeah, nothing." This was honestly a disappointing thing to hear. Pinepaw was 13 moons - enough to become a warrior! The molly had no training whatsoever either.

Hazelpaw held Owlspot's gaze steadily. What did she know? She had been hunting for herself her whole life, and she knew her fair share of fighting, but nothing from the traditional Clan training. She had just begun training with Talonstone, but they hadn't done any fighting-- yet. She hadn't been in the Clan very long. "I haven't been trained before," she admitted evenly, but followed up with, "but I can fight."

Now that the conflict was settled, or dropped, Owlspots lead the group of apprentices to the training cliffs. As far as she knew these five knew how to fight, Failpaw at least better know how. If the ex warrior was unable to fight there really would not be a place for her in ShadowClan.
Turning to the five Owlspots went on to explain what they would be doing. "We are going to do mock battles, pair yourselves out however you wish. You can team up or not, however you will all be fighting with your claws out and will participate." She explained. Those who didn't participate would be noted and reported to Dawnstar. That was alone to save her own skin. It would not fall on her if apprentices didn't show up to be trained

With a nod and a sharp edged smiled Shrikepaw immediately moved like liquid shadow to stand between Failpaw a low challenging growl emanating from his throat. It wasnt in any way to 'protect' the rest of the group from the molly, no, it was more of an isolation method done to ensure his right to fight the older cat. After such a verbal grapple she better not think she'd be able to fight anyone but Shrikepaw today.

The apprentice narrowed her eyes at Shrikepaw as he approached, stepping back from him. The molly looked around, turning to find another partner. She didn't mind having fun with words and being insulted, but Failpaw didn't like it when other cats wanted to attack her. She'd find someone who was a worthy opponent but wouldn't want to rip her to shreds.

Owlspots eyes flashed as Moonpaw went for the throat. Before she hadn't been taking this serious, but now she was. The spotted and striped molly pulled her head back just in time to feel the apprentices teeth scrape some of her skin and pull a bit of fur out. Letting out a hiss, Owlspots swung a paw to either scratch or pin the apprentice's face. Her claws where out be she doubted they would do enough damage to get the younger cat seriously injured.

[hey, @Mumble @S t a r @VALLIANCE bump with your group. Mumble you have Ashenpaw in group 2, Star you have Darkpaw also in group 2 and Valliance you have Quailpaw in group 1. Ashen and Dark need to state what they know and Quail needs to find a sparing partner.
If you guys can't get your cats posted for some reason please let me know, they'll be marked a no show for this group but automatically moved to the next one to get training.

Moonpaw felt owlspots' claws on her face and she jumped back, looking for openings then she raced at owlspots looking to dive and swerve at the last moment and leaping on to the mollys back
