As soon as him and his sister were alone, Pinekit bounded over to the entrance to the camp, ignoring his sisters mews to stop. He wanted to explore and this was his perfect chance, he'd slip out of camp, sniff around, then slip back into camp before anyone even noticed.

Creamkit looked at the other kit heading outside. "Can I come? I love out of camp." she whispered. Creamkit had been outside with her best friend Sandypaw when the apprentice was a kit.

"Sure, but we gotta find something to hide our scent, I swear some warriors can smell anything from a million tail lengths away." He walked out of camp and sniffed around, trying to find the strongest scent there was.

"How about we find mud and roll around in it. That should hide our scent and I should know, this isn't my first time." meowed Creamkit. She saw some mud next to the nurery. "How about that?" she asked pointing her tail the mud.

"Yeah, that's perfect!" He bounded over to the mud happily, careful not splash into it and make too big of a noise.

She smiled and rolled around in the mud. She made sure her fur was all cover before walking back to the entrance.

Pinekit shook the mud off his paws before running back to the entrance, not wanting to leave a trail of muddy paw prints. "Where should we go first? I've heard stories from Mudnose about lots of areas around here."

"I know! We should catch a fish! That'll make Silverear let me go out whenever I want!" He whispered happily.
