Heron was walking around town wearing a slightly tattered blue shirt and gray pants. He felt som rain fall on his head making his tufted of fur fall sink to his head. He carried a basket and some thing to buy food with. He and his family were running low. Sam’s earnings only got them so far. He was glancing around trying to make sure he didn’t step on any puddles when he saw a familiar figure. Sophie...? Sophie! Heron grinned and raced over to her only slowing down when he almost fell into a puddle.
( @Cocoa <3 Hope you don’t mind me making it raining! I was thinking maybe they could visit each other’s houses? )

Sophie was beginning to get wet when she saw Heron. Her hood was on and her scarf was wound snugly around her neck. She didn't enjoy wearing her traditional clothing. "Heron!" Sophie giggled a bit at the sight of him nearly falling, and padded over to him, careful not to meet the same fate.

Heron blushed as she came over...which was odd. Why did he blush? Oh it was probably just the cold getting to him! That’s logical! Right? You know I’ll read some books on it when I get back! Perfect! “Hi there Sophie!” He greeted. As more rain fell on his black and white furred head she let out a very soft growl if dislike before fumbling with his hood in an attempt to get it on. After a moment of somehow getting himself tangled he finally got his blue patched up hoodie on.

Heron practically shrunk back into his blue hoodie when he realized Sophie had witnessed his hoodie fiasco. He let out a practically silent embarrassment laugh at himself. “Just going to get some food, me and my family are running a little low,” He responded rubbing his paws together to warm them up. Brrrrr. It was wet and cold out here! Oh why’d he have to go to the market this month?
( @Cocoa <3 I shall continue killing you as much as I can then! Mwahahaha! Also sure! Now they might know how to control their magic better!

"Would you like me to come with you?" Sophie asked, cocking her head.
She shivered a bit, it was cold. Taking a deep breath, she used a bit of magic to warm herself. Nudging Heron's large paw, she tried to warm him up a bit as well. Sophie wasn't nearly as good at giving warmth to others as she was warming herself up, but she still wanted to help.

Heron froze when Sophie nudged his paw. His face heated up. He could feel his paws warming up but he wasn’t sure if that was Sophie or his...embarrassment....nerves? What had that feeling been. Hmmmm. Odd. Interesting. But back to Sophie! “Uhh-uhhh sure!” Heron stammered before shaking himself so that he could focus. “That’s be nice! Thank you Sophie!” Heron said giving her a small almost formal dip of his head in thanks. He gently took out a piece of paper with what he needed to buy scrawled on it in his mother’s messy hand writing. “Meat, bread, water, Some of that spice, a vegetable or two,” He read to himself.

Sophie smiled. "So where to first?" She asked. It was rather funny that Heron was being so.. respectful. It wasn't out of the ordinary though. Sophie flicked the water off her fluffy tail and curled it around her body to help it dry off.
