ThunderClan: Life Before 2023's Sinkhole

Thicketfur woke up. He looked around. He didn't quite remember where he was. He saw bloodstained grass and instantly remembered. He had been in a meeting with some of his his Dark Forest Clanmates when he had spotted Coolpaw eavesdropping. He had been removing the evidence when he was jumped by another cat. He wasn't sure who it was, but he was ready for revenge. He noticed it was newleaf. How long was I out? He had to get back to camp. If the cat that had knocked him out had went back to camp and told the leader what happened, he was doomed. And if Coolpaw was still alive somehow, then there was nothing he could do.

Cloud'kit was just having a belly up nap, snoring hard and with some saliva falling from the snout.

The bobtail paced outside Thrushfur's den back and forth, their stubby tail lashing because this was just, pathetic, man. It felt pathetic, but if Cinderpaw did it, why not them? Really, really. Asterdance had reasons, valid reasons, it wasn't their fault they were.. messed up. They were,, they were trying here. Trying to keep up with Thunderclan even with Sparrowstar's disappearance and this sick, ugly, cruel feeling that was curling around their heart once more.

With a deep sigh, Asterdance trotted into Thrushfur's den - at the very least, entered just a bit to pop their head in. They didn't want to enter fully, actually that was why they were here. "Aayyy.. Thrushy, Thrushman, Birdie, Bro, okay, uh, got a little, thing to ask? I mean, not a serious thing - seriously, you can think on it just, youu knoww... Mee..... was thinkin' about, things. " They licked their lips nervously.

"C..could I uh, move my nest outside? Like, I was thinking I could sleep by the camp entrance and be like, a cool night guard or something. I dunno, it's just, and don't laugh but, I can't.. sleep.. in the dens, " Asterdance took in a sharp breath, "makes me sick to my stomach, gives me the jitters. Considering Cinderpaw already sleeps outside tooo andd, I've.. just been sleeepinngg on the floor, I just..figured.. might be... useful and... betterr..more productive, " They finished, lifting their gaze to look at Thrushfur's mouth.

Softshadow's eyes narrowed, now breathing in the fresh scent of the forest. His eyes widen, now smiling as he walks forward. "...I- Have returned." He states. "I promise, I can explain everything..."

After dealing with her prey and moss, her next step was to find Bumblebreak to report the patrol. Luckily that wasn't hard. "The patrol went well, we brought back some prey, and some moss for the nursery." She smiled.
(Kept it vague because it hasn't been wrapped up yet)

The black and white kit pushed her face into the queens fur mumbling a Quiet thank you her green eyes squeezed shut as she tried to force the image of her mother leaving out of her head.

Maybe he had seen the den from the outside. Yeah that had to be it! He probably just didn't remember. He was really bad at remembering things. "I think I remember seeing inside the den from the camp clearing.", replied Wildkit. So it wasn't strange after all or at least putting it that way it wasn't.

Lightshine and Coolpaw were out of ThunderClan territory now. They had to get as far away as possible. Coolpaw had been healed back to full health, aside from being blind in his left eye now. Thicketfur hadn't spotted since the attack, but Lightshine was sure that he was after them. Thornpaw stayed, for he had nothing to do with the attack, but everyone back at camp was informed. If Thicketfur were to come back, they would be prepared. Lightshine noticed a hill of proportional size. She decided that they would set up camp there.

Thornpaw knew that something was wrong when Lightshine had burst into camp, with Coolpaw's limp body in her jaws. Even now, Thornpaw couldn't believe that his mentor, Thicketfur, had done such a thing. Lightshine and Coolpaw had already left to get away from the threat of Thicketfur. Coolpaw had not been able to identify many of the Dark Forest cats with Thicketfur before the attack happened, so one or two of them could have killed Lightshine and Coolpaw during the night. They had left in the direction of the RiverClan border. I hope they are alright.

Hailhawk padded back into camp, sending the apprentices off, before approaching Bumblebreak. "Everything went smoothly and was in-line at Smallpines." He reported.
