DarkSpot bubbled with excitement. Her kits were going to be born soon! She squirmed around in the den. She then got worried and started pacing! What if something goes wrong?She thought

Goldenstep laid in her nest. Worries swirled through her mind, leaving feeling exhausted and spent. She lifted her head lazily as she noticed another queen buzzing with excitement and nervous energy, she could smell the kits on her already. She must be a first time mom. Goldenstep was on her second litter with Elmshadow and she'd felt like she'd grown moons of experience since she awaited her first litter. But she couldn't fool herself, every litter held that same excited nervousness, never knowing what you're going to get or what's in store for the future. It didn't get much better after the kits were born, it all just seemed to redirect to keep the kits from dying, not an easy feat. She gave a tired smile, mostly to herself as she lowered her head back to her nest. She'd had a lot of thoughts weighing her down as she sat in the nursery with Ashpaw, Chamomilepaw, and Sunsetpaw, but now with Petalkit and Burningkit, things seemed even heavier, they were heavier. She sighed and tried to get herself to go to sleep.

The brown and black tom giggled to himself as he carried the twigs he'd gathered up. They were all sufficiently pokey and he wanted to put them in an innocent queen's nest. Not one that was nursing newborns - that was too far for Kitekit - just for an unsuspecting one with some older kits. They sniffed around a few nests before finding one without newborn-kit scent. They chuckled again as he lined it with the twigs.

Willowkit was so bored, her two colored eyes shined and she walked over to her nest that she had shared with her mother, yet she didn't know what happened to her, she figued she wasn't coming back. She stepped into her nest and layed down only to yelp out "OW!"' She jumped out of her nest only now noticing the sticks. "Sigh, who did this?" she muttered attempting to take the sticks out. I kinda hope it's a kit that did this, I wouldn't mind playing with them She thought sniffing the bed only to get an unfamiliar scent.

Willowkit [Open]

Ughhhhh, It's so boring in the nursery! Willowkit though annoyed. Her eyes were half lidded only part of her blending into the shadows she was staring at another cat almost hidden except for her white fur, her brown and black spots were what blended in, and her blue eye stood out even more than her green one. "Ughhhhhhhh, so boring," she said grabbing a balls of moss and throwing it up in the air, only for it to bounce off her nose and lead her out of the shadows into a cat. "O-oh, u-uh Hello! What's your name?" She asked, clearly shy.

Heartkit padded inside, upset. She was supposed to be an apprentice. Why?
She sat up. Next time. She told herself Next time

The short apprentice grumbled as they dragged out the old bedding. They thought this would be a great chance to see Hummingbirdkit again, but no sign of her was present. Sharkpaw's eyes clouded at the thought of her again. Where was she? The last time they had seen her was at that event with the foxes and badgers. That was like moons ago! After Sharkpaw had dragged out the old moss, they grabbed the new fresh moss from Starclan knows where. They placed the moss back on the ground.

Doekit had just woken up from her nap, she had been told to stay in the den no matter what- just because she wanted to go out into the clearing! Although her father did have good pointers...she didn’t want to become a target at all. Huffing she stood up and stretched herself out. Grunting as her bones gave a satisfying crack, which in turn caused her claws to unsheath just a bit before going back in.

She shook herself after and looked around. She spotted an apprentice! Oh. My. Gosh! her blue eyes sparkled to life again, and she padded over. She didn’t feel so very energetic as of late- especially after getting scolded by Bitterwish.
“Woah- hi I’m doekit- what’s your name? Oh my gosh you’re an apprentice! I Cant wait to be one too!” she grinned at Sharkpaw.

Magpiekit was bored--again. So she decided to go see if her brother wanted to play. The last time she'd tried this he'd been asleep and somehow didn't wake up when she prodded him. This time, she was determined to get him up. Stomping across the nursery, she stooped down next to Edgekit's nest and mewed as loudly as she could into his ear, "Hey stinker, wake up!!" If that didn't wake him, he might as well be dead.

Groooooann. Edgekit was tired, bro. At the sound of his sister's voice, he covered his ears with his paws, smudging some of the dirt he'd gotten on himself earlier that shadowed his eyes. "Hey, who'd'ya think you're calling a stinker, dude? You're the stinker! Sorry not sorry to break it to you, it must be hard to hear but I'm here for you through these difficult times," he said, his voice laced with sarcasm.

The kit stretched and yawned, leaving his nest with a yawn. His tail-tip twitched with boredom. Their maw broke into a grin as he thought of another prank to pull. He could probably pull it off alone, but he'd found it was more fun to trick others with a friend. He snickered and looked around.
