Beanpaw jumped as he heard an unfamiliar voice. They seemed friendly, so he listened and nodded along with a "Yeah," and a smile. He was still feeling his heart pounding, except now it wasn’t out of fear. It was actually a great feeling. He scooted a bit to the side in order to get out of the way of Grizzlybug’s "hug", and couldn’t help but giggle a bit. He’d noticed that Grizz was looking fluffier than usual, and decided to say softly, as to not interrupt the meeting, "You look like a bush, Grizz!" He pawed at a bit of the long fur, smiling.

Now that I'm an apprentice, Fernpaw thought, I'm able to train! Unlike that traitorous brother of mine... Nope. No sadness no guilt. One time, Berrypaw said that Maplekit did something too... awful to even say. Berrypaw would never lie to her, right? "So what are we gonna do?"

He noticed that little spark. Just like him when he was an apprentice . Smirking "I think we'll go into the more exciting bits of battle moves. We'll learn the boring parts after . " he hoped she found that to be more enjoyable . "ah...we can even go to cattail pond? " he was getting more chatty by the second. ..He was so excited. Someone to hang with..possibly befriend . Berrypaw was a little taken aback as Lionstar called her and Maplekit out in front of the whole clan. She was suddenly angered, but not at the leader. No, she was angry with Maplekit. That damn mouse-brain must have snitched on her. Scanning the cats, she found the stupid idiot in the crowd, and sneered at him. She wanted to go over and give him a piece of her mind, or maybe even tease him about getting held back while his sister became an apprentice. But she couldn't do or say anything. Nope, she was going to try to avoid him at all costs now. If she slipped up like that again, she knew she'd likely be getting something far worse than apprentice duties for a quarter moon. And so, trying to calm herself back down, she focused back on the ceremonies currently happening. She'd have to act extra cheery now, to try and reinforce her disguise. Listening to all the new apprentices, she called out each of their names. "Sunpaw! Fernpaw!! Almondpaw! Dogpaw! Dawnpaw! Duskpaw! Smokepaw! Turtlepaw! Curlpaw! Stormpaw! Beanpaw! Silentpaw!!" The molly cheered out for Fernpaw and Silentpaw louder than the rest, letting her gaze linger on the two of them. She was quite fond of them both, and was glad they were sharing a den now. Perhaps, since they were apprentices now, she could attempt to bring them into the Dark Forest with her. Mmm, yes. She would attempt that tonight. Focusing back on the streamstone, she waited for the next part of the meeting to commence.

Hollywatcher swayed her tail, looking at her in a friendly manner. Fernpaw seemed like a nice cat. She didn’t doubt that they’d get along. She just hoped Fernpaw thought the same way. “Well. I’m going to show you the territory. That way you can get familiar with it.” She flicked her ears.

Silentkit bounced as he realized that it was time for his ceremony. He had completely forgotten about it. He laughed at himself for thinking that he was going to be punished for helping take out thorns from bedding. Life was going faster than he had thought. I will make you both proud, Mom and Dad, watch me become a warrior who will protect his clan with his life. He bounced to his mentor, Driftblaze, and touch noses.
