Cottonpaw watched all the new apprentices move up toq their mentors. It was a happy site to see so many happy cats. The white tom wanted to call out names, but didn't get all of them. Oh well. He would have time to get to know their names.

Almondbush stared up at Lionstar listening to all of the words he said. He looked at all of the new apprentices. He didn't know how to feel about them. He wasn't usually a cat who paid much attention. He loved kits, but he wasn't sure if they liked him.

"Nah, I'm okay," Maplekit replied. "I should know better." He thought that maybe he should say sorry since he caused the trouble, and he agreed with himself. But he still didn't trust the white and cream she-cat, for she had secrets... and it seemed she had some dark ones, too.

Dawnpaw nodded and looked at her new mentor, her eyes just empty. "I'll see you tomorrow at Dawn Nightuft. Is it okay if I go see Duskpaw and make sure he is okay?" her voice was surprisingly monotone and not as lively as normal.

Duskpaw was still looking frantically around for the warrior called Doefeather when he heard someone call to him. He saw a warrior she-cat calling to him. He sighed in relief and padded over to his mentor. He saw some other apprentices touch noses with their mentor, so he stretched forward and touched noses with her. He smiled as he heard her energy.

Duskpaw smiled, his pale yellow eyes bright with excitement. "What are we going to do first?" he asked the molly. "I already know how to swim!" he informed her. He puffed out his chest proudly as he looked at Doefeather. "I want to learn as much as I can!"

Coastpaw's eyes opened wide as Lionstar rattled off ceremonies for a bunch of new apprentices, amazed he remembered them all. He struggled to chant all of their names along with eh rest of the clan, trying to not miss any or mess any of them up. There were so many it honestly just sounded like a jumble of words being chanted to him.
