Basilbounce quietly padded out to the graveyard to sit her vigil. She glanced around waiting for something to happen, but nothing happened over the night. She glanced around yawning, working to keep herself awake throughout the night. She wanted to sleep, but it wasn’t dawn yet. Hopefully she wouldn’t end up on the dawn patrol.

Heathernose rose to her paws and scented the air, looking for a trail to follow to get Quiverpaw practice on long distance hunting. Hunting a creature that was nearby was often easier but never guaranteed. It was good to learn to follow a scent trail for any distance. The light scent of a mouse came to Heathernose from behind Quiverpaw and the warrior looked back at the younger she-cat.
“We are going to practice long distance hunting. There is a scent trail of a mouse nearby, can you find it and follow it?”

Coldamber used a paw to set and correct Snowkit's forearm bone, cringing as it set back with a pop. Then she snapped the unwebbed stick into two pieces and tried to set the sticks on either side of Snowkit's fore paw, and motioned for Snailswirl to begin applying the webbing to secure the splint.
