He lept at the she-cat," LEAVE US ALONE! What has she done to you." He slammed his paws down onto the she-cat in attempt to shove her to the ground. (Isn't she Redfeather's friend asked to attack Birdsong?)

He purred and smiled. It was a smile nobody had seen since the flood. He was having fun and he finally felt like he could be himself. She called him a hero and he purred louder. "And you are always my hero." He told her. He meant it as well." He nodded in agreement when she talked about the fun they could have. He licked her cheek as she licked him. "I'm glad you feel that way." He said softly in her ear.
