Kiara nodded, glancing back at the chain before padding toward the entrance. The tigers growled, but she padded right past them and slipped outside.
Kion followed, but paused at the exit and turned his head. "Chaka's dead." He raised his voice, hearing gasps echoing around, and padded out after his sister.

"...WAIT A MINUTE!" The tigers roared, the shock disappearing, darting after the cubs. "GET THOSE CUBS!!"
"GO!" Kion shrieked, pushing Kiara ahead.
Kiara glanced at him, then took off. "stupid tigers!" She screamed over her shoulder, flinching slightly.
Kion closed his eyes briefly, then whipped around to face the tigers and crouched, unsheathing his claws and letting out a loud snarl.
