Listening as his cousin started naming new apprentices and reassigning old one new mentor his tail twitched from side to side. Would today be the day where he got an apprentice? One that he will train to be the strongest warrior he can make them. Dawnstar said his name to train Hornetpaw. The words after he didn't let go to his head, so instead he just nodded to the leader. Glancing around from where he was sitting next to his son he stood up to move over to them. He paid no attention to Centipedpaw as he wasn't his apprentice. "I hope your looking forward to working after this meeting. We're going to hunt until the sun goes down and don't think I'll go easy on you.", he meowed. If they didn't know how to hunt he'd teach them, but there was no coming back to camp until the moon was high in the sky. He didn't have anyone to treat, so he was free for the rest of the day.

Oh no. This was not good. She could probably help Dustpaw with listening and whatnot- but if she made one screwup, she would be smited by Dawnstar. Then what would the apprentice do when they learned she struggled in fighting skills? Oh goodness gracious. Would she have to pretend to know more than she does? @AllSeer

Dangit, Dawn'Star had only just returned from the WindClan battle, and Pine- No, no, Dust'Paw was already making a fool out of themselves? Heaving a sigh and standing, the brown-and-silver patched cat trotted over to their mentor, Cactus'Pelt, and forced a smile. Hearing an apprentice begin the warrior ceremony, Dust'Paw got prepared to begin chanting as she cleared her throat. ||

Valestripe cocked his head at Dawnstar, knowing that she was curious about his scars, but he shook it off when he heard Jaypaw was going to be his apprentice. "Jaypaw!" he called, motioning to his new apprentice.

Cloversun was surprised to here her name being called out. "Oakpaw," she muttered under her breath. There he was. Cloversun spotted the apprentice's brown pelt. This is exciting, she thought, my first apprentice!



She caught his eye and called out to him. "Oakpaw! Over here!"

Softpelt felt anger bubble in her belly at Dawnstar's words. Her tail lashed over the floor of the camp, stirring up a fly. Lazy kittypets. She had disdain for them, and to hear her name in correlation with those soggy-clawed cowards was infuriating. Anyway.
The fluffy grey she-cat scanned the crowd, looking for Goldpaw. Her eyes narrowed, flicking over her clanmates until she came to the new apprentice. She padded over, bending her head down to touch noses as so many had done before her. Goldpaw would be her first apprentice, but she was confident that she could pass on her knowledge to make them a great warrior. But she wasn't sure how yet. Learning as we go, I guess.

Oak’Paw sat up, yeah he should have taken his training into his own paws but, he hadn’t known how! He hadn’t exactly been told any guidelines for apprenticeship. But he was glad he was getting a mentor that would be more active in his life.

Gazing around, he heard some cat call his name, turning to the sound he locked eyes with Clover’sun, his new mentor! Getting to his paws he cast a glance to his sister Heart’paw before padding over to his new mentor and sitting down next to her, a confident look on his face.

The black and brown tom looked around excitedly for his mentor. He was finally out of the stinky nursery! Yes! No more hanging around with fussing kits and queens. Hopefully, his mentor was a big, strong cat just like Dawnstar! That would be awesome! He looked around again, trying to find Shadefrost in the crowd and finally finding the other tom. He dashed toward his mentor and skidded to a stop in front of him with a grin. Hi hi, I'm Kitepaw! he said with a small pant in-between 'I'm' and 'Kitepaw'.
