Rosebriar's eyes narrowed. "So, you're not the type of cat that I thought you were," she muttered. Then she tensed. Did Ashfeather sway you to your side? No - Twistedface." Hatred gleamed in her eyes. "I don't care about your explanation!" she hissed. You have been disloyal to WindClan by leaving the Clan that you were raised in, and I don't want to be with anybody who wants to switch Clans. Maybe we'd be better off without you. Traitor." She looked away from him.

Creekdash was pleasantly surprised when Barleykit said hello, let alone as him how the day was treating him! Glancing back to the other kit, Deadkit, who he hadn't met yet, he gave her a smile and tapped his tail for her to come over.
Turning his attention back to Barleykit, he smiled at him, "The day's going pretty well, how 'bout you?" If you treated someone with kindness you were most likely going to get kindness back.

The brown tabby nodded his head to Twilightstar in acknowledgment. He padded up to Shadykit. Shadykit stared at him in astonishment. "You're alive? I thought mother had found you... oh, Daddy!" she cried. "Come on, let's go. Maybe we can find Cinderkit and live on our own..." said Bramblefoot (the brown tabby), and padded out of the territory, never to be seen in WindClan again.

Wait, the kid hadn't heard about the Coyote attack before? That left Pumapaw wondering what else the apprentice didn't know about. "You've never been told about the Coyote attack? Anyway, I think I was still a kit around that time, I only know what I've been told but pretty much a lot of coyotes attacked camp and drove us out and we split between resting in Shadowclan and Thunderclan. So that was what happened pretty much. I think. Oh," she'd probably forgotten something based on Beepaw's surprised expression and rummaged her brain. "OH! You know Quickass is my mentor.. I think his actual name is Quicksilver but hey, Quickass fits better."

Deadkit turned away. Clearly, the conversation was over. As Barleykit left, she scampered away. Her butterfly was long gone. Her sister didn't want her, and apparently her mom didn't either. She wanted to be a dead kit. But not really. A small, stubborn part of her wouldn't let her leave, knowing it would mean death. Instead, she decided she would be her own clan in the clan. She wouldn't sleep in the nursery, with her mom who wanted her dead, or in any of the dens, with the cats who were silently, hatefully judging her. She wouldn't eat their prey, which probably wasn't going to work out very well as she couldn't hunt, but her tiny kit brain had about used up all it's brain power for the day, so that didn't occur to her. Slinking to the camp wall, on the same side as the nursery, she crouched down on the dirt. Resting her head on her paws, she gave a small whimper, and tried to fall asleep. @TheNyanCatMinecart (Feel free to not respond)

What was that? He'd gotten... praise? As in p r a i s e? You know... acknowledgement that you'd done something good? Stagpaw couldn't believe it and it took the apprentice a good hard moment to actually comprehend it and understand that Twig wasn't criticizing him but actually praising him because he'd done something good! It was kind of a struggle that this was actually real. Was he sure he wasn't dreaming? He didn't know until Twiglight went back to teaching him; which he liked. He liked learning from Twiglight and he really enjoyed it. Nodding along the white and russet apprentice just refrained from speaking for now. When he didn't speak things seemed to go well, but he wasn't going to lie, it was hard to remain quiet. A lot of the time it was. Did Twiglight like when he shut up? Was this why she was teaching him now? He didn't know. He didn't know a lot of things. When would he start knowing? He would've probably been slapped if he'd asked all these questions outloud so at least he didn't do that! But when she said balanced on four paws he couldn't help but open his mouth and wave his limp paw up in the air, "I can't balance on this Twig! Or I go... THUMP into the ground!" He demonstrated that, putting the paw down on the ground and slowly evening out his weight. True to his words, after a few moments his face met the ground as his paw buckled under his own weight. "Oops. I didn't mean to go thump completely." Noooo, it had just meant to be a small demonstration not actually happen. BUT, he had to put in an effort, show that he at least was trying not to be useless! Useless and Stagpaw didn't go together! and should never belong together. Taking a chance and balancing on three legs in a crouch, copying Twiglight's stance as best as he could, he placed the lame paw down carefully without putting full weight onto it, and it was like... it was free? He could lift it. "OH! I can just use the paw to smack someone!" With that he moved forward in his crouch, a small limp as he walked with the lame paw but making his way in front of Twiglight he aimed a punch with the bad paw, hoping to smack her in the face again.

Coming! Skunkblaze called, before seizing her prey and padding after him. The outing had been nice certainly. Perhaps she would hang out with him a bit more often. @MagicCat99
