Orchidmoon emerged from her den at the leader's call, an intrigued look on her face. She was certain this would be the meeting in which the new ranks were announced. Excellent. The molly had a basic grasp of who she believed made the cut on her team, and who perhaps needed a bit more.. help, but she was curious about the other teams. Cougarivy and Brackenfire were obvious choices; Brackenfire had the blessing of being Dawnstar's daughter (though Orchidmoon would admit she was an excellent warrior as well), and Cougarivy was simply vicious. Then again, perhaps Dawnstar was looking for something different than her typical pet warrior. She supposed she would just have to wait and see.

Red’paw padded up to the shadowledge for another clan meeting, he had to admit fighting those otters was fun, but he was disappointed that most of the time his teammates spent arguing. He hoped it hadn’t left a bad impression on Dawn’star.

He sat up straight near the front,Tail curled around his paws as he kept a confident stare up at the shadowledge. If you feel anxious, look confident, you’ll be so focused on appearing to be confident that you’ll forget to be anxious. At least that’s how Red’paw saw it and so far it had worked.

Brackenfire looked up as her mother called for a meeting from the top of the ledge. Most likely, a lot of cats present would be getting a major ego boost with new ranks and one of their heads would get a gigantic inflation by a new deputy rank. it better be someone competent or I swear to the stars, I'll jump off a cliff.

She had been thinking Elmshadow was going to be chosen as deputy, but no, he was made into Bounceberry's replacement. Owlfeather would have been the obvious choice, but Bracken hadn't seen her around much lately. Maybe.... Badgerscar. That would make sense. Not Cougarivy, either. She lacked a thing called responsibility (brackenfire did too, she couldn't judge) Cougarivy would be a good new rank, obviously Orchidmoon as well. Maybe... Well, she didn't know. There were a plentiful stock of morons around here, but not a lot of actual good warriors. Maybe Aspenpaw. Maybe.

Pigeonpaw padded evenly into camp, looking around as the other cats who’d competed in Dawnstar’s hunt also filtered back in. Dawnstar called a meeting so the apprentice hurried to the ledge. Maybe today would finally be the day she received her warrior name! She supposed a new deputy would be named as well. Despite one day hoping to hold the rank she wasn’t discouraged by the deputy being announced now. She still had lots of time and with the record of deputies, Dawnstar would still be leader long after whatever deputy was put into the position. She sat down.

While padding up to the Shadowladge at his mother's call one might have thought the large tabby was in a bad mood, but he was actually surprisingly not so. Or at least nothing was horrible today. Just best for whoever got the new ranks and became deputy would do their job, he didn't like how much the two previous ones had been too lazy.

the molly stopped aggressively licking the stained blood from her paws, gently grooming in between the pads. her head lifted to watch the meeting she was already near the meeting place so she stayed put. her ears perked in curiosity she was sure this meeting was about the new ranks, and she'd be damned if Spiritfire hadn't been picked. the she-cat would hate to admit it but she liked the stubborn snippy white molly she was smart and definitely on her level, well for now at least.

Oh, her beloved brother was present. Praise be, hallelujah. Rising to her paws. The tabby stood up and with a grin, cut through the crowd smoothly, like a snake through grass, and came up beside him. "Hiya, bro." She crowed, voice dripping with exaggerated sweetness and she gave a dry little cough, then grinned at him. "How's my favorite brother doin'? "
