Ashfeather looked up at the black she-cat and quickly looked up, adjusting her twisted paw with a round paw so that it didn't hang at a disturbing angle. "Hi, Nightleaf," she purred, still feeling a bit excited. Her voice was distorted but a bit off-putting since she had just fixed her jaw a bit. "Doing fine. And you?" she asked.

Ashfeather then turned to her mate, Flameclaw, and smiled at him. It was lopsided and off-putting due to her jaw, but geniune all the same. "Hello," she purred, then glanced back at Nightleaf. Then back to him. It was difficult to look at both of them at the same time since she only had one working eye.

Gullpaw.

The name itself filled them with hate, and they struggled to keep it from showing on their face. It was pep talk time, come on! "I, I really don’t think it’s your fault," they tried to reassure, struggling for words. Maybe as long as they didn’t say her name, it would be fine. "She... had a talk with Coldamber. It’s not your fault. And she’ll... be fine."

Echowind ignored the moss. "I was a terrible mentor! Gullpaw belongs in WindClan, not living the life of a rogue!" She couldn't imagine Coldamber's pain, but if what Gullpaw said about it being her fault was true - and she believed it! - then the medicine cat deserved to suffer.

The silver she-cat didn't believe a word Snailswirl was saying. Alright, so they were one of the medicine cats. But that didn't mean they were all knowing, did it?

Ashfeather sat down in the middle of WindClan's clearing. Her legs felt tired and exhausted, while she felt more tired than usual. Her light gray stomach bulged a bit, contrasting her very visible ribs that showed how little she ate. However, despite being hungry, she was happy. She was pregnant with Flameclaw's kits! Cinderpaw had just finshed cleaning the nursery. Bumping into Ashfeather, she smiled. "Oh Hi! Sorry!" She mew'd

"I need to know how you'd like to handle the guarding duties. Who's guarding what, for how long, and how will you be changing shifts?" It would be way easier to simply assign every cat a place. However, Twilightstar wanted to give them a chance to voice their thoughts. She did enjoy listening to different ideas and opinions, it made her feel like she and Snippy weren't the only cats in the clan with half a brain.
