A purr rose in Ashfeather's throat. "I'm sure you would," she meowed, feeling very happy. She had never expected to get that far in a relationship, but here she was, with a mate, pregnant with kits! And she had an apprentice, too. With quite a few friends, it felt like she was establishing her place in WindClan.

Of COURSE her mentor had found her, and nabbed her. Of COURSE. Struggling against the grip on her scruff, Thornpaw felt herself dragged to the fresh-kill pile. Do I have any choice? she grunted, her leg twinging in pain as it knocked against a rock.

Coldamber.... was out of it lately. She was making it look like she was busy by continually counting the stock and shifting them, rearranging and occasionally pacing around the den.
She would go looking for herbs, but Coyotesnarl recently sent out quite a few, so she wasn't needed for that. And outside of poppy seed and marigold and cobwebs.... she really didn't know a damn thing of use.
She felt Snailswirl's eyes land on her and she looked up at them, blinking becoming erratic in confusion.
"Um, I heard Coyotesnarl say he want to try digging an underground area to see if it would keep herbs in better shape longer."
She could very well also be misremembering this. She hasn't been 100% there lately.

Beepaw eventually was tired of waiting for the adults in her group and stomped on into the Medicine Den, where she remembered there were some adults. Maybe they could tell her what she was supposed to do.
She got on her hind legs and extended herself upwards, precariously balancing.
"Excuuuusssee me, please! I was put on apprentice den extension but I dunno how to do it! And I can't find my group. Could you pretty 0lease help me? I just needa know whatta do."
She plopped back onto regular 4 paws and her hind legs were very grateful, though they weren't happy with the odd usage.
And now she waited.

An apprentice with a slacking group? Not really anything new Skunkblaze supposed. But what was she supposed to say? She wasn't Coyotesnarl! Well, maybe the apprentice, Beepaw she thought, could help them out here, and then they could do the apprentices den? That might work. Maybe you could help us, and then we could help you do the apprentice's den afterwards? she suggested. Dimtail started pulling down the wall where the herbs once were. He was a little disapointed he wasn't with his apprentice, but that's how it turned out.
