The day was pleasant: Clear skies, a warm breeze that smelled rather sweet, bees and butterflies galore. Just, nice. Eldersky had secured herself a spot in the sunshine to contentedly people-watch her Clanmates. She still hadn't done much as a warrior but hunt down a chicken (whose feathers, along with the rooster's, were tucked neatly into her nest. The molly had even stowed a couple away beneath the soft bracken as well. It was her intention to eventually give them to Batglare. Eventually... Her eyes wander towards the den they now shared together and she shuffles her paws, tucking them further beneath her body as she lowers into a comfortable crouch. She still needed to talk to that grouch.
But that would wait. For the time being, this gal was going to enjoy her newfound freedom! Maybe with a hunt, or a needless pointless walk! Maybe just continuing to sit around doing noth- NO!
Eldersky lets out a joyous laugh, popping back up to her paws and skipping forward a few pages with her tail high. She would very much like to find somebody to head out with. Bright sage eyes sweep the clearing again, searching... Beep, beep, beep, aha! Her radar locates... Creekdash! "Creekdash!" The gray tabby calls out to him. "Are you free?"

"I said I'm okay." Icekit wasn't planning on bothering Nightpaw with his issues with never seeing his father in his whole life. @BestDragonslayer

(Oh my god I'm imagining Paleshine, his dead dad, is watching down on his son as he pushes everybody away and dosent tell them about his sadness and he feels so bad about his son's sadness and how he's locking his emotions up and it's so sad aaa)
"Yeah..." The sunlight dimmed down as a cloud passed by, blocking the shining sun. For a moment, Icekit could have sworn he heard a voice whispering to him as a cool breeze ruffled their fur. Wrapped his tail around his legs, looking for something to distract him from his sadness so he could enjoy some time with Nightpaw without him thinking that he's faking his emotions... @BestDragonslayer

Wrapped his tail around his legs, looking for something to distract him from his sadness so he could enjoy some time with Nightpaw without him thinking that he's faking his emotions... @BestDragonslayer

What was that? He'd gotten... praise? As in p r a i s e? You know... acknowledgement that you'd done something good? Stagpaw couldn't believe it and it took the apprentice a good hard moment to actually comprehend it and understand that Twig wasn't criticizing him but actually praising him because he'd done something good! It was kind of a struggle that this was actually real. Was he sure he wasn't dreaming? He didn't know until Twiglight went back to teaching him; which he liked. He liked learning from Twiglight and he really enjoyed it. Nodding along the white and russet apprentice just refrained from speaking for now. When he didn't speak things seemed to go well, but he wasn't going to lie, it was hard to remain quiet. A lot of the time it was. Did Twiglight like when he shut up? Was this why she was teaching him now? He didn't know. He didn't know a lot of things. When would he start knowing? He would've probably been slapped if he'd asked all these questions outloud so at least he didn't do that! But when she said balanced on four paws he couldn't help but open his mouth and wave his limp paw up in the air, "I can't balance on this Twig! Or I go... THUMP into the ground!" He demonstrated that, putting the paw down on the ground and slowly evening out his weight. True to his words, after a few moments his face met the ground as his paw buckled under his own weight. "Oops. I didn't mean to go thump completely." Noooo, it had just meant to be a small demonstration not actually happen. BUT, he had to put in an effort, show that he at least was trying not to be useless! Useless and Stagpaw didn't go together! and should never belong together. Taking a chance and balancing on three legs in a crouch, copying Twiglight's stance as best as he could, he placed the lame paw down carefully without putting full weight onto it, and it was like... it was free? He could lift it. "OH! I can just use the paw to smack someone!" With that he moved forward in his crouch, a small limp as he walked with the lame paw but making his way in front of Twiglight he aimed a punch with the bad paw, hoping to smack her in the face again.

She must not say nice things to him all that often. He looked dazed after she gave him praise. Now that she thought about it she didn't say nice things to anyone unless she felt it was deserved or would work to motive them. Being mean was easier, plus, in her defense, it wasn't like Parasite did all that much that deserved a lot of praise. More often then not she was the one dealing with his wild fantasy and dumb ideas, she could only imagine how many new apprentices and kits now had a fear of rabbits because of him. Hitting Parasite over the head and or throwing stuff at him made more sense to her.
It was going pretty nice until he opened his mouth to complain about his limp paw. She watches him with a lackluster gaze as he preformed for her. Did he not have three other good paws that work? She was about to question him about that, only, surprisingly he seemed to get it himself. Twilightstar would see if Mushy and Seedpaw wanted to do some training together, Seedpaw got around well on three legs and from what she's heard could hunt just fine without the fourth limb. Perhaps the older apprentice had some tips for Parasite, she'd be lying if she said she wasn't interested in someone of the techniques the molly used to do day to day stuff that often required four legs.
Oh, this again. Twilightstar is jarred out of her thoughts when Parasite tries hitting her. She jerked her head back out of his reach, pushing herself out of her crouch and sprung at him, her forepaws aiming to grapple his shoulders and knock him flat on his back. The leader thought they were done with the whole trying to hit her in the head bit.
"While I'm glad that you're coming up with your own tactics and improving, I'm not sure why you keep trying to hit me with the same move. First off don't announce your intentions, and don't try and do the same thing twice, it becomes predictable. Also did we not come to some sort of understanding that it's not going to work?" She was back to criticizing once more. Did Parasite not get that she wasn't Mushy. She wasn't going to stand there and let him hit her. That's not how battling worked, besides she was working something else with him and now they were back to the slapping.
