Buckstar frowned, his eyes immediately clouding over with concern as he studied her more closely. "Ah, uh, yeah, Coldamber is visiting from WindClan, if you want to go see her. Want me to walk with you?"

Guard. Guard? What guard? He didn't remember putting any guard on her, but whatever the reason, it was probably necessary. Buckstar narrowed his eyes right back at her. "Your 'little guard' will be staying with you until you prove to me you can behave yourself," he retorted, voice scathing. And calling Lionwhisker her best friend? Yeah, right. He'd believe that story when rabbits sprouted wings. "You and Lionwhisker's 'friendship' has nothing to do with it." With that, he was done talking to her. If she said something intelligent, then maybe, just maybe, he'd pay her some attention.

He turned to Coldamber, the annoyance on his face quickly turning to a look of helplessness. "I don't know. Honestly, I don't. There are..." He scrunched his nose as he grasped for a word. "There are obviously cats with a better reputation who would probably be better suited, but I'm not one to argue with StarClan." And at the suggestion that it could have been a cat who did not mean well, he glanced down at his paws in thought. "Maybe so. But even if that's the case, we can't carry on without a medicine cat. I could never ask you to stay here, and I would hate to constantly drag you or Fawnsqueak or Irisflame away from your duties. So..." With obvious reluctance, he gritted his teeth and huffed, "So, Frostbreeze it is."

"It.... would be appreciated, but not necessary. Same den?"
Sapbeak's head was ok, was fine, really. It was only her stomach that was causing issues.
Her legs were fine, too.
He didn't need to be too worried about her.

I have no desire to smell of herbs and waste time playing medicine cat, Coldamber I demand you create a link to Starclan so I can have a conversation with them through me, or take me to that cave so I can speak to them and demand they change their mind about who should be medicine cat. How about giving this role to say...Coldamber. She’s just idling around in Windclan who has Snailswirl. Why not just kidnap her, she at least enjoys healing.“ she growled, she decided not to explain that it was because of the missing foot, which clearly would prevent her from being a warrior.

Glidingfeather was really getting frustrated now. NONE of the patrols she had sent out had reported back yet. She was about ready to stomp over to them and call them out in front of the whole clan, but when she saw Chicorybee approaching her out of the corner of her eye, she stopped walking and forced her fur to lay flat. Affection could be shown when the were in a one-on-one situation, gotta keep things somewhat professional. her eyes clouded with worry when she noticed the tenseness in Chicorys back. A bit was always normal for the blind she-cat, and she was used to that, but she also wasn't quite okay with seeing the chronic pain in action and knowing she couldn't really do anything about it. She ushered Chicory over to a comfortable spot near the side of the clearing where they could lay down together. without saying a word, she sat down, her ears pricked forward while she waited for Chicorybee to talk.

This was nothing new. Nothing she couldn't just state and then get it over with. She could do it. And it was this hesitancy to do something that made Chicorybee more angry than anything and despite lying down she slowly rose up so she was back to sitting upright although she did grace Glidingfeather by laying her tail over the other molly's neck. "I'm expecting kits. And I expect you to be there with me every step of the way." No questions, just... a statement and a demand. But... Glidingfeather should know that it was the usual thing from her. Chicorybee didn't ask for things... she just got them and acted like she'd been expecting it the entire time. "We can raise them together, raise a family. I know it may be rushing things but... what's the fun in not jumping in with all paws?" Well there was certain risk but she didn't care. She was having babies and well, Glidingfeather could leave her to raise them on her own or at least join in for some bits of the parental care if she wanted to, but... there was one thing Chicorybee wanted to make sure. "I have one request. And that is, as soon as they're born, you describe to me what they look like." With no eyes she would never be able to see them... ever.

(noice idea, I like to make most of my kits like that. Blackkit's an exeption because she's traumatized. Oh and I decided not to make her completely mute, she's just quiet and a late talker. So she doesn't really talk at all until she's older and then is still fairly quiet.) "Cat and mouse?"
