Looking up at her mother, Applekit puffed out her cheeks and frowned. Eyes burning with anger and her tiny tail lashing. "your going why can't i! " she hissed with a stomp. She wanted to beat them up! " I has wawwior strength! I wanna beat em up! For chickadeepaw!" she meowed.

The large tom internally sighed as the news. Of course some foolish apprentice would manage to get themselves killed, and by the windcat border no less. Were they trying to provoke a war? From the hostile reactions of his clanmates, the warrior noted it down as a realistic possibility.

Talonstone glared distastefully at the other shadowcats as they began yowling about wanting to travel with their leader to meet the windrunners. Had Dawnstar asked who wanted to come with her? No! The powerful molly had simply stated that she would pick four felines to join the team. All the felines currently running their maws only wished to pick a fight with the wind; either that or they wanted Dawnstar's attention. Both were equally plausible explanations.

Gathering himself, Talonstone turned his gaze back towards the looming form of his leader. He wouldn't mind visiting the rabbitchasers, but he wasn't about to make a lizardbrain of himself because of it.

Did everyone want to get themselves killed? That was what was going through Doetuft's mind as she shook her head, listening to Dawnstar's speech but nevertheless the molly wasn't all too opposed of going to Windclan. More to make sure their clanmates didn't end up killed because someone needed to be somewhat responsible in this group of 'blood blood blood.' It seemed there were two sides of Shadowclan lately, the 'peace at all costs' and then 'fight fight fight, blood blood blood, blood and honor, Shadowclan's pride' groups. And it was annoying and frustrating.. and useless! Why could they just not... have some brain and decide what they thought were best and not just follow the crowd and decide to be a scaredy bird, or follow Dawnstar's every word like she was a cat from Starclan of some sort. She was not! She was their leader and that was it. But... despite her own best intentions, Doetuft did have interest in going to Windclan. Because she had something to prove, starting behind the sidelines compared to everyone else, Doetuft needed to earn her leader's trust... to an extent she wouldn't be spat at anymore. Listening to Adderfang's words nearly prompted the blind molly to sit down but a familiar set of paw steps nearby prompted her to lift her head, scent the air and recognize... Frosty. Oh hell no. He'd been doing a lot of Dawnstar's lackey work and if he was too blind to recognize that, then she would have to tell him. So moving over, she proceeded to sit on his tail, preventing him from moving once again. "No," she whispered in his ear, "You're... not being a stupid... stubborn.... icicle again. You.. wanted me... to be honest... with you. I am. So... here I am. Being... honest. You.. can be the same. Because... I know you... want to go.. there... and I do too... but don't be stupid... about it. Which you've... been lately."

Stempaw let out a loud growl,” Let’s rip this Windclan scum and leave them in the dirt....leave them in ruins, scatter their clan, make them just a memory we tell our kits like Skyclan!” she growled angrily sheathing and unsheathing her claws.

Huh? Killed? What did that mean? Lilackit saw that Applekit was mad, so maybe she should be too. The kit tried to look scary, hissing and puffing up her fur.

Sparklight smiled affectionately at her adopted daughter. "I know, but you can wait until you're an apprentice." @FERMENTED_CHEESE

Grunting with a huff, Applekit hung her head, although from where she was standing she spotted her new friend lilackit! Her anger went away only to bounce excitedly . "mamma! Mamma! Look! It's lilackit! She my new fwend ! " she meowed as she pointed with a paw. It was up to the seemingly emotionless kit if she were to pay her any mind. But it was true! They were friends!

Ghosttail bounded to the Shadowledge, obviously knowing he was late. He had came in just when Dawnstar mentioned Chickadeepaw's death. "I can come with you Dawnstar, if you would like." He meowed to the ShadowClan leader. If he couldn't tear a WindClanner's fur off, he should at least be able to glare at them as if he would. @Undertaker

"I'll also come along.I've never really like windclan anyway.",Hawkclaw said.He was ready to attack Windclan for thinking they could get away with killing a apprentice of Shadowclan. @Undertaker

Alright. Now the meeting was interesting. Burningspark say back on his hunches momentarily as he surveyed the meeting. Cats spoke out to join Dawnstar as she stalked around the warrior like a hyena cornering it’s prey. He was slightly impressed by the lack of fear in the she-cats eyes, though he wasn’t ready to let her off the hook. Letting your apprentice - however annoying they were - die at the paws of another clan without knowledge of it was unresponsive and stupid.

So he decided not to be sad if Dawnstar decided to kill the warrior right there in the clearing

His next thought followed that of her declaration of traveling to WindClan. He would be happy to go and get his claws dirty if he got the chance, however, he wasn’t ready to be a leaders-pet. It had never been in Burning’s blood to be a suck up. Burning decided not to call out like his fellow clanmates he was willing to go; if Dawnstar wanted to see him in action she could call on him. Golden eyes slitted, he sat slightly straighter and watched how the scene unfolded.
