Skykit squealed in excitement, and bounded after Wishpool, dancing around her. She paused for a moment and turned to the cat with the scratched face. "Hi! I'm Sky! Wer'e gonna see 'Twighlightstar' and I get to live with big nice smelling cat! What's your name?" Skykit started rapidly sniffing the cat, mewing in enthusiasim.

The clan took the news better than expected, life would move on even without him as her deputy. She'd have to learn to as well. Kits! There were a few of them that had come of age, it was time for the apprentice ceremonies.
"Sparrowkit [ @bmkmb ], Whitekit [ @Peril ], Blackkit [ @Lynxpaw ], Twitchkit [ @The Ink Demon ], Snowkit [ @Jack ], Cheetahkit, and Crowkit [ @Goldenmac ]. Up here." Twilightstar beckoned the kits with a wave of her tail. Pushing Coyotesnarl to the side, she focused on the lighter stuff like oblivious kits delighted about their apprentice ceremonies.

(dang i just missed posting before moonraven. I was at my grandparents house.)
Dimtail's tail twitched in surprise at the announcement that Coyotesnarl was stepping down. That guy seemed to just jump over all the roles, didn't he? He wasn't getting that old, was he? Oh, well. He turned his attention back to the announcements. He wondered with detached interest who would be the apprentices for these kits.

Crowkit's whiskers twitched as he heard his name called, i mean he shouldn't be that surprised, he expected this after all. The gray tom got up and padded closer to the Breezerock and looked up at his leader, for once he seemed to be genuinely excited for something, he glanced around at the warriors who were gathered beneath the Breezerock, seemingly trying to guess who his mentor was going to be from the crowd of pelts. Crowkit hoped it would atleast be a fairly good and noble warrior, he didn't really want an evil mentor, Though that could be a good way to learn what evil cats look like he thought.

Twitchkit hear his name get called and he bounded forward. The young tom was completely nervous, but excited at the same time.

The brown bicolored kitten perked up as she heard her name called. "Yes!" Sparrowkit couldn't help but cheer. She couldn't wait become a super cool apprentice like Robinpaw and Stagpaw. Prancing up towards the Breezerock, the kitten stood beside her denmates proudly. Don't get her wrong, Sparrowkit was still nervous - she was just hiding it surprisingly well in front of the entire clan. All she had to hope for was a semi-decent mentor, because she was mostly confident that Twilightstar wasn't going to eat her. Less things to waste her energy on, without having to worry about something like that.

Whatever, Shockholly couldn't keep waiting around for Croakingtoad to get a move on. Echopaw needed treatment now or she wasn't going to make it.
With all his pacing, they would have thought he wanted to help if possible and, well, it was possible, he just had to help carry her, but he didn't seem to react when they spoke to him, so she gripped Echopaw wherever she was least hurt and motioned for Beepaw to follow.
They eventually reached the stream and Shockholly motioned for Beepaw to set down the herbs.
"We're here, now, and I'm gonna need help keeping her head above the water, just make sure the herbs don't get blown away."
Beepaw nodded and set the marigold and cobweb stick down and pattered over to help the warrior.

Shockholly propped themself up as another cat entered the Den. With the exception of Echopaw and Cinderkit, it hasn't been too busy or hectic being a stand in healer.
As Nightpaw's blood hit their nose, they got up and approached the apprentice. It seemed to be reopened wounds, so it wasn't too bad.
"Just needing something for those scratches? Or do you have something else needing to be seen to?"
They moved into the herb den to pluck a single marigold from the store, taking note of the severe lack of poppy seeds and the dwindling marigold stocks.
Oh, well.
Just something to bring up to Twilightstar. Maybe if Coldamber and Snailswirl came back to a full storage, they'd have an easier time with their job.
They returned to Nightpaw and began chewing the marigold, preparing it for application.

Beepaw was late. Super late. Oh no.
He.... she??
Beepaw was still confused about this gender thing and which he seemed to be.
She approached Skunkblaze, who reminded her very much of her Deadpool. Plus, they'd spoken when they were expanding the Medicicine Den, so she was safe, though the crowd was to be avoided.
Still couldn't be around crowds. Still too scary.
A paw was softly pressed to Skunkblaze's shoulder.
"I'm late, what did I miss? Everyone seems upset about something. And I heard something about Echopaw? Has her condition changed since Shockholly and I tried I help her?"
The idea that the apprentice had worsened after taking so much time to help heal her was saddening. Echopaw really deserved to make it through and get better.

Shockholly was meandering.
Mostly because they had popped into the leader's den to ask Twilightstar a few questions. Mostly about herb patrols. They had so few poppy seeds it was ridiculous, amd the marigold would be gone soon enough.
With Coyotesnarl gone, and not being the Medicine Cat normally, it seemed they would have to ask Twilightstar to make that call.
