Ashfeather let out a loud sigh, feeling exhausted. Looking down, she saw two of her kits curled at her stomach. Her head flopped down onto her paws and she relaxed as she felt Shockholly’s tail rest on her shoulder. “They’re... beautiful...” she gasped, twisting her head around to see them. Wait... there were only two. Where was the third? She noticed it lying a small distance away from her. “Can I... have my other one?” she asked, feeling exhausted.

Shockholly had been more focused on Ashfeather and getting the kits cleaned up once their head was finally done spinning, so it made no sense to them why she had to ask for her other kit.
But.... Wishpool wouldn't have kept it away without reason.
They bent their head and nudged the kit a few times, testing for a reaction only to recieve none.
With a start, their head lifted, ears folding.
How could they tell Ashfeather they'd lost one?
She turned to Wishpool, unsure what to say, their tail subconsciously coiling at Ashfeather's leg, gently squeezing.

OH STARS. He forgot to go on the patrol! He had heard the cat send out the patrols but hadn’t actually gotten up.
Sprinting out of the camp, he quickly caught up to Shockholly and Gullpaw. “Oh stars I’m so sorry. I was day dreaming about things and it totally slipped my mind.” He spewed out the apology very rushingly. “Now um.. what do you want me to grab or carry so you can find which ones are the herbs you need.” To be honest, that might of come out a little sexist but he wasn’t trying to be. Shockholly should be taking the lead on this. Mostly because he knew practically nothing about herbs other than poppy seeds.

Owltalon purred in amusement as she smacked the groundhog, which retreated back into its hole. He turned and put a tail across her shoulders, "It's alright, you scared him off." He guided her over to another area, "Come on, I can smell some mice over here."

The sudden touch made her a little uncomfortable, so she pulled away and raced ahead of him, sneaking into a little shrub to sniff around. A moment later she pulled out three mice by the tail. They were still alive, but caught.
"I fink I foum dem" She mumbled through the squirming bundle.

Owltalon lifted his tail as she darted off and shook his head. She emerged from the brambles with her jaws full of mice and he laughed, trodding up to help her. He took a couple from her with his own snout and dropped them hard on the ground. They made loud squeaks which were quickly cut off by sharp jabs from his paws. "Good find." he told her with an encouraging purr. When he first spotted her, he had thought she was cute, if a little skittish. But is becoming apparent she was quite competent, even if she was shy.

She flicked her ears, and actually gave him a small smile. "Thanks." She said softly, and picked up one of the mice. It was soft and warm in her mouth, making it water. They needed to bring their stuff back to the camp, or at least store it with the rest if they wanted to hang out longer. She kinda liked him, he seemed...well, cute. He was bigger, but he was a little goofy to her.
