While the den remained open for anyone else to join, the cranky old bat was in no mood to wait for them. He had quite the story to share, and he was eager to get rollin'. "Ah, Duskstar. A rebel queen, that one were. She slew the great rock spirit who led before her, 'n demanded competence from 'er underlings. Her rule was stony, 'er resolve unyielding. Nothin' would stand in her way of makin' us the best Clan. Not even kids.

"Ya see, ThunderClan these days ain't nothin' like the old days. Chaos reign supreme above all, kits ain't got guidance. One kid, Gustkit, ain't take kindly to Duskstar. She were mad she wasn't gettin' apprenticed on time, 'n demanded a ceremony. She was a troublemak'r fer sure, 'n had been punished for whackin' some other kid earlier tha' meetin. In response, she got attacked. First an' apprentice struck 'er, then a warrior got involved. It broke into a fight. An' let me tell ya, that Gustkit packed a punch! Best tantrum I've seen so far 'n she held her own against the warrior scourge, but it ain't end well for that kid. Any of ya wanna guess what happened?"

Lilackit held up her tail, signaling that she wanted to speak, so she waited for Brookkit [@/^\Spooky+Vix/^\] to finish speaking, then she spoke. "Sir, did she end up getting hurt? After all, you had said she was only a kit. Even if she were six moons, having an apprentice AND warrior attack her couldn't have ended well." She meowed. "Or even what that kit said," she pointed with her tail to Brookkit, "maybe after the fight broke out, Duskstar decided to not make her an apprentice, and instead exile her?"
