Simon sighs, breathing in the chilly air. "I guess... but maybe you should just appreciate what's happening right now." He hummed a soft, haunting tune - though some may classify it as a trill.

He takes a deep breath, then opens his mouth, and sings:

"Time is an illusion that helps things make sense,
So we are always living in the present tense.
It seems unforgiving when a good thing ends,
But you and I will always be back then.
You and I will always be back then."

He closes his eyes, twirling one of his hoodie-strings around his finger. "It would sound better if I had my guitar," he mutters, a little embarrassed.

She smiles at the thought of music on a guitar. "It sounds nice nonetheless. I can't sing, my voice is just... no." She tries to laugh. "But I do write stories sometimes, and maybe... songs."

She can't help but smile. "I don't play instruments. My hands aren't fats enough for that." She admits quietly, twirling a leaf between her fingertips slowly before tearing it to shreds.
