Lionclaw followed his Clan and was excited even though wouldn't be home exactly. He began to wonder how bad the damage was in ThunderClan after that fire. Obviously he knew it was gonna be messy since there were falling branches that probably damaged a few of the dens. Hopefully he would get chosen to help with making the ThunderClan brand new like a new home but it always their home.

His heart skipped a beat. Hawkmist was happy that at some point, they would be returning, even if his face was a scowling misery. But he was determined to help out any way he could.

His fluffy black tail swayed as he walked over to Rainywhisker. “Whatcha got for me?” He mewed in his kind of rough way. It kind of sounded threatening, that dark tone in the tom’s voice. Sure, others call him stubborn, stuck-up, even intimidating when he got mad. But this time, he was determined to prove he could help this Clan out.

Pinepaw nodded. She needed to learn how to hunt. Even if she was skinny and weak. She looked at the others.

Alright Rainywhisker. Fleetwind mewed, before bounding off to find some large sticks. Finding one, he carried it back and dropped it near some of the den materials. Returning with a second and a third, he began to look for moss for nests.

Lilyleap heard the apprentice sent over to help her, and looked up. Why don't you focus on a few nests for Lionwhisker and Condorpaw. Lilyleap mewed, to Blizzardpaw. I can probably handle most of the ones for the queens and kits. @Blitz

Upon reaching the temporary camp, Lionpaw glanced around. The land here wasn't scorched, although signs of the fire probably weren't far from their current position. He wasn't sure about heading back home; they wouldn't be going back to the original camp for moons. In his short and ongoing life, the apprentice had already moved his nest five times. This would be the sixth. He doubted that most cats had moved around that much. It was troublesome, but he supposed that it was just his luck. Of course, when he joined ThunderClan in hopes of a permanent home, they just had to catch on fire and be forced to move. The golden tom felt a nose against his blackened tail, presumably Frostpaw's. "Huh? Oh, my tail is fine. The pain is lessening," he meowed. Just his luck that the second they find the temporary medicine den, it's time to move again. The pain of his tail was still a bit raw, but it really was subsiding. It was the back of his hindpaws that was bothering him more. Walking on them felt unnervingly tender. "How about your paws?" Lionpaw asked. "On a scale of one to ten, how much to they hurt?" He felt a bit guilty for not getting Frostpaw to the medicine cats faster. "What are you going to smack me with?" the apprentice asked amiably. He doubted that the molly was willing to hit him with her injured paws.

"But Lionwhisker and Condorpaw wouldn't want us to put them before the queens and kits." He meowed dropping the wad of moss he was carrying.

Head lowered with slight disappointment, Condorpaw followed behind his mentor closely as they trudged away from the stinky, soppy RiverClan soil. With a single stick clasped firmly in his jaws, the apprentice would puff up as the trees began to envelop them once more. Honestly, there was a part of him glad to be going home. Sure, there were still some roasted clanmates that needed leaves put on them or something... but at least he wasn't going to be tripping on sand or getting his paws sucked into the mud. Blegh.

As Lionwhisker settled down, Condorpaw would follow suit, placing his stick down as well,

"Are we going to finish looking at leaves?" He would question, voice slightly irritable - though maybe that was from all the walking. "Because I know you said what the marigold was... but... How is it different from dandelion?" Condorpaw's lip curled back, "They look exactly the same..."

Mudpaw dropped her moss wad and turned to Blizzardpaw. "But Lionwhisker and Condorpaw need nests too" she pointed out. @Blitz

But the injured cats need nests as well. Besides, I'll be working on nests for the queens and kits, so they'll still be getting done. Lilyleap mewed, spreading moss and fluffing it up. Spotting a few feathers, she dragged herself over, and tucked them into the nest. I have a nest over here if any queens or kits need a rest! she called.
